yesterday evening, the restaurant had about 30 people in him, there were only 1 waitress and she did absolutely amazing that eating was good, but they would expect the 5 cooks boh to give the waitress an increase or at least someone to help clear their talents are wasted here. She was great.

simply the best Chinese in ipswich! the food was delicious, hot and fresh. the service was fast. the waitresses are friendly and helpful. a good drink selection premium beer (peroni on hahn) and the bill at the end of the night was very reasonable. I'll be gone to take away from now on. I can't wait for my next visit.

Good food but extremely poor policy communication. Turns out the buffet 'all you can eat ' is only 2hrs limit -something not mentioned on their site, upon booking or on arrival. We were merrily discussing our next order when the bill was unceremoniously plonked on our table and we were told another party was waiting for our table. No objections to limits but when something is sprung upon you like that it really puts a downer on the experience. Voir le carte

the best Chinese in ipswich would be considered a massive understatement! every waitress will welcome her with a warm smile and they are really extraordinary! eating is just a second to none, fresh, taste and easy the best smoked chicken I had the pleasure to eat! the chef is top notch and I will continue to eat in lanterns as long as I live! a total of 10/10 experience from beginning to end every time without mistake. once again the smoked chicken is divine!

beautiful fixed price menu, eat as much as they all cooked to order, better than a help themselves buffet. if they don't want that to eat anything they like price menu. then they can order different menu money for each article of their choice. friendly, chatting staff, busy for a Wednesday, but still no problems with service and eating everything was hot, although they never got my pan sizzling bark wrong, brought garnel out, but they offered to get us them free and my proper order. I was glad to keep the garnels to avoid delays. very tasty, so no problem with me.

we went lantern's last night I was in the february and it was amazing! but last night was another experience the appetizers came it nicely presented and hot, but not really tasted of anything and after a long wait the escape came it was very badly not a cripple very fat, the gurke was dry and the earlylings had still attached the root. we then waited a long time for the main meal when they came, it was average the chow mine and the bun with cashew nuts saved the day, but the recovery was not great. the ladies were beautiful and made a great job! I don't know what has changed since februar, but improvement is necessary. Voir le carte

Worst Restaurant I have ever been to went as a group of 5 for the all you could eat menu the first course was nice waited about 40 minutes after that took nearly 40 minutes for the second course which was a very small amount of duck and salad to go round 5 people then the third course took over an hour by the time it came out we had just under a hour to eat they put the air conditioning on so not only did the food go very cold so did we none of us really enjoyed the food after the first course I would have rather of stayed at home and ordered from our usual restaurant £120.00 worth of food. would not go back if they paid me

I always used to love lanterns as they had great value for money and delicious food but the last two times I have ordered I have felt like I wasted my money. When I ordered the stir fry broccoli I got, no joke, 4 pieces of broccoli and the rest was barely cooked onion. Thought maybe it was an off day and ordered again today only to be baffled by what I was served. I ordered a chicken curry and received what appeared to be onions in water with curry sauce placed on top. Bit odd that a chicken curry only had five bits of chicken and the rest was again inedible onion. Not sure if they are under new management or trying to cut costs but this is ridiculous. I have requested a refund but no doubt...

1 star is being extremely generous, a Chinese restaurant run by English that can’t cook Chinese food! Also extremely rude and when we asked to speak to the manager was told he was cooking and to wait after 10 minutes he appeared at our table with an attitude starting at us sticking his hands in the food like he was going to throw it at us telling us have we got any money to pay for the beer, as I stood up he was reluctant to move I threw £20 on the bar and walked out £20 was paying over the price for rice that was hard, prawn toast that was under cooked, ribs that was un Edible, noodles hard and couldn’t get the order correct.
