"My friend and I went for afternoon tea before Christmas. We were greeted and seated by friendly staff. The waiter fully explained the afternoon tea menu and we made our tea selections. The thing that I like about this afternoon tea is that you get two of everything so that both of you get to try everything on offer. I have had afternoon tea in other places where you only get one of everything and you have to cut them in half in order to be able to taste them all. The selection of sandwiches was interesting and some not to my taste but this is personal. Trying to pay the bill at the end was slightly problematic and it felt like we struggled to get anyone’s attention once we were ready to leave. This meant that we ended up approaching a member of staff to pay on the way out as we waited a long time after asking two members of staff for the bill. It was a pleasant experience but not the best or worst afternoon tea we have had, we would recommend and return."

I had a fantastic afternoon tea experience at this restaurant in England with my mom. The food was delicious and the location was perfect for a stroll in Hyde Park. I was also thankful for the friendly service from the Indian staff member who served us.

I went to the restaurant for dinner. High quality ingredients, excellent service. Not a huge menu, with vegetarian options. Excellent soups and desserts. You must try the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Very good! Beautiful hotel (wonderful bathrooms). Voir le carte

Such a pleasant experience dining at Lanes of London. The food is excellent and the service is top notch. Eat here several times during my wife and I’s trip to London. Our waiter, Vivian has made the experience so pleasant with his friendly approach, and him remembering our favorites dish how we like it, as well as our favorite seat.

Don 't bother. Honestly an awful experience. Atmosphere was dead, only 3 other people one man was cheering throughout a football match he was watching on his iPad. We came for a drink, that was limited to only 5 days. Firstly the waitress had no idea what it was. Secondly she said she 'll make it, and after waiting half an hour, she came with a different drink. She said it 's the same thing but just not the same colour or presentation ... then she sassily tried convincing me to keep it. I just walked out.
