"We stumbled upon this amazing tea room on our trip to Hadrian’s wall exhibit. The food was incredible, service was amazing and the building was warm and cosy. We had the pulled pork toastie, grilled chicken and guacamole sandwich, pecan slice and the squidgy lemon cake. All amazing but we would highly recommend the squidgy Lemon cake, it was like eating a fluffy cloud and the taste was mouthwatering. The pulled pork toastie had to be the best toastie I have ever eaten, it even came with a beautiful salad and pork crackling. In all we would give it 5 stars all round."

Stop off here quite regularly while out on the bike. Really friendly service and lovely food. The cooked breakfast is outstanding!!There’s a gift shop attached to the tea room also.

I received a warm and welcoming greeting from the women at the Tea Rooms. They were consistently cheerful and pleasant. It was a delight to celebrate my birthday with breakfast there today. The food is consistently excellent as well.
