"We spent 3 days at Hotel Ständenhof to explore the surroundings. The modern and well-maintained hotel with its cosy farm guesthouse has delighted us. We felt very well special praise for the family of Our Lady and your team all were very warm and human. Some 4 star hotel can cut off a disc. Also the price performance ratio was completely ok. We had a large quiet room (29sqm with balcony) clean and modern great bathroom and comfortable beds (see pictures). Breakfast was delicious and sufficient. Thank you very much for the family Ehrgott and Team...we come back."

Here you can still find fantastic food from days long gone! Everything is reminiscent of the good old 1980s and 1990s. Fantastic!

We were on the way south in September and wanted to eat a little bite.They have become the best noodles.I have never had such good noodles,it was super nicely dressed and was accordingly served.A great praise to the kitchen and colleagues service: 5

From call to booking to departure was best served. Friendly staff. Great well maintained hotel. Rooms are nice and have a balcony with a small surcharge. DA's breakfast rich and in best quality. Just manko, the coffee machine is very slow when the coffee sausage is big in the morning. Greetings Florian Schmider

We had chosen the accommodation for motorcycle tours in the Palatinate Forest and the North Vosges. The location of the hotel is excellent. There was also a garage for the motorcycles. The rooms of the hotel were excellent. The food certainly a little more expensive but very good. The entire staff of the Ständenhof was very friendly and made the stay even more pleasant. We were eating here after a super nice hike in the Dahner Rockland. The food here is perfect. I had cheese parrots the best cheese parrots I could enjoy so far and the salad buffet is really good and everything fresh! And the carving of my husband was absolutely recommended! We are happy to come back to the delicious food! Nearby activities: The Dahner Rockland is close, perfect! Food drinks: Very delicious food. Good quality and very good salad buffet!

Food drinks: Wir hatten alle diverse Arten von Schnitzel und es waren alle durchweg super. Auch der Preis für die Schnitzel Salatbuffet ist völlig in Ordnung. Was wir nicht nachvollziehen können ist, dass für große Softgetränke über 5€ berechnet werden. Das Getränke meistens etwas teurer sind und damit Geld verdient wird ist völlig in Ordnung. Aber wenn ich für ein Glas Cola/Sprite/etc. den Gegenwert eines halben Kastens bezahle, finde ich das ordentlich übertrieben.

"A quite spontaneous tour into the Palatinate once again led us past the Landgasthaus Frauenstein. We had some hunger, until dinner it was quite long. So far we had always passed, it is so “tourist-friendly” on the federal road. However, GastroGuideKollege Simba47533 was quite positive about this house some time ago. Family Dörr has been operating the inn with guest rooms and court shop for over 30 years. The building is surrounded by spacious parking spaces. In the house are some steps to overcome. For guests who are no longer on foot, there is a railing in the middle. Guest and WC rooms are all barrier-free. We looked at the menu at the entrance. German, natural, patriotic. We entered the large guest room, the two ladies at Theke welcomed us kindly and we were allowed to choose a table. We went left into the side room, this room was simply brighter through many windows than the main guest room. Next room Rustic, well maintained furnishings. The “good old time” is no longer often found, here it has remained. Fireplace, wood panels and plenty of trophies on the wall. Well, as a hunter's daughter, I was allowed to grow up with such decorations. But I really can't win anything. A good wild dish on the plate I find more tasteful. View to the main guest room The menus have been completed and our drinks requests have been requested. The drinks were ordered faster than our food. Alcohol-free pils, 0.33 l, € 3.70 mineral water, 0.75 l, € 4.50 We were supplied with well-cooled drinks. About 40 dishes (without desserts) include the German and French-speaking menu. Soups, salads, carvings, steaks, peeled specialties, trout. Even the toast Hawai was not missing. Unfortunately, the motto of the House “Ländlich Deftig Frisch” is not implemented consistently. The trout from its own waters, a brook flows right behind the house, would have attracted me very much. But I had doubts that the portion is too big. A table was reserved for dinner in Gimmeldingen. But I ordered a portion of roasted potatoes € 3.00. I had an appetite for the warm supplement. Onion carving of pig in degreasy onion sauce, fries and colorful salad € 13,80, the choice of my husband. We noticed that the house is specialized in refugees, professional travellers and groups of travellers at the latest as approx. 15 minutes after our order the food was served. The kitchen must be well organized. Despite speed, everything looked freshly prepared and appetizing. Crispy pommes, neatly browned and also with crispy spots of roasted potatoes. My vitamin exports were more than abundant. A trout court could not have been more lush. I was happy with my very tasty roast potatoes, because the baguette was also the German version of an air-flooded dough without taste, it always reminds me of Styrofoam. But surely there are also followers of this bread, there have been in this form for at least 50 years. Fresh leaf salads, hidden raw food salads, red onions (which I like very much), pepper cubes, tomatoes, peperoni and feta cubes dressed on a large glass plate. The vinegar oil dressing smell more acidic than it was. That was all right. Only the cucumber salad that remained under the work of the leaf was too drunk. For the carrot salad great. I didn't make the portion. The carving of my husband, unfortunately, with dark pulple flavor enhancer sauce. That's what happens when you don't read everything. Unfortunately, he had read the “future onion sauce”. With us an onion carving is always served with slightly fried onions without sauce. Since the carving was unfortunately quite dry and therefore also not juicy tender. If this is always the case, it explains the sauce to the flesh. But there was an OK for the court with good pommes and a proper supplement salad. The sauce made the panade soak. It was nice that the pommes were placed in the separate bowl and thus remained spared by the sauce. Pommes zum Schnitzel Beilagensalat In the meantime, despite later lunchtime, numerous guests arrived. The kitchen is open throughout and this seems to be worth it. All guests were quickly supplied. American guests did not help the German or the French food declaration. Possibly the boss supplied the guests routined in English and gave explanations of the food. We were kindly adopted. Numbers at the cashier via EC was possible. The country guest house is not now the gastronomy for a multi-course dinner. Don't be. Lovers of good-bourgeois cuisine and large portions are certainly satisfied here. If it fits again, I would definitely try the fresh trout."
