"The location is truly unique, beautifully located between the old walls of the monastery ruins and the spectacular waterfalls. The beer garden is welcoming, you sit there very nicely. For our large group (17 people) a large table was directed especially in the guest room so that we could eat dinner separated from other guests. The guest room itself is relatively dark, which is due to the nature and age of the building is not unusual in the Black Forest. The selection of dishes is pleasantly clear, very appealing and a clear indication that they are prepared by the restaurant itself and carefully, which together with the location justifies the slightly higher but quite reasonable prices. By the way, the dishes taste, and our group had many different of them, also very tasty. The service is particularly noteworthy: both in advance during the organization, and then on site all the staff of the restaurant were extremely friendly and attentive as guests we have looked after and felt very welcome here. Here we are happy to come back!"

"Good coffee and very nice burgers. They have so many options that I had to read the menu online and finalize my food before going there.Casual atmosphere, which i prefer and nice service.Vegetarian options: They do have a very nice veggie burger. Highly recommended.Parking: The cafe is in an industrial area. There are quite a few parking spots just infront of the cafe."

"This is where we fed well to third parties. The meat is grilled directly over wood in the fireplace. I had the pork ends with Rösti, my husband decided to be ridden classically. Our daughter had a salad plate with shrimp. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, my husband's cattle steak was the first attempt well done instead of medium. He then got a new steak on the grill, even though he didn't want it. If you want to go to eat here, you should book as much as possible. We were lucky to have a place without reservation. Moreover, you should not be too hungry when you enter the restaurant. Cooking in the fireplace takes so you can wait a little longer than usual in other restaurants. We'll be back on our next trip to Lake Mummel."

".is not exactly an outbirth of the lush life, especially in the gastronomic area! my wife had booked the hotel and restaurant gashaus hirsch and we knew already, since we cannot eat. Monday the kitchen was closed. so we first checked there and returned to another 25 kilometers of new white / all the way back to the kappelrodeck, which would allow us to enter a restaurant for dinner. a question with the operators of the brain after a return possibility was answered with school plans as well as a note: perhaps the linden a few hundred meters on the main road? we didn't want to run far to order a taxi, but we had no pleasure anymore. we had already seen that the linden had opened. starving was remarkable and so we looked at each other, woke up the shoulders and went without great expectations. electronically, the linden does not take place yet, but they have a telephone number, and so research was difficult in advance. before the house, but a large group of young people at the beer, so bad could not be when they come. so we were in the restaurant and again we were in the middle of the bad gaststubenbarock. once was a tasty beer of the greatest urgency. more cheerful are nicer and then have no more thirsty, and the second came immediately after emptying the first glass beer on the table unquestioned. also kappelrodeck is a wine-growing place and surrounded by weinbergen. there is the winery shirt from the dasenstein, which naturally found itself in the wine card of the linde. ach it would be nice if we had such beautiful wine cards in the münsterland also in every hospitable place. the hexe from the dasenstein braut in her enchanted pots tempting drops. for us it should be developed a late burgunder in barrique, the evening was unresistant rainy and did not lead to a white wine. good red wine glasses came with the wine to the table, it was opened and woman tasting the sattrot drops. nods, smile, good choices! Now I was allowed to try. fine, elegant, not tanin, typical late burgunder. we shared a sausage salad, a little southwest German in pure culture. simply because we starve and rejoice in what is more hand-resistant, the mother in the service was a very good sourdough bread. now we have the tired feet under the table stretched and let us cry and heat up. to the main courts again the inevitable supplemental salad. again without kartoffel salad! but otherwise delicious and freshly prepared. dill and edgy like the guests at the gurkensalat in very high dosis. we went to the main courts. for my wife a calf carving. this also came to the table without great help, as with me on the eve. visually, it didn't make me so good. slightly dark, the panade very even, I thought it wasn't beaten and advised. my wife didn't say anything about the court. also for me meat, a rib-eye steak. also, which came pure on the table, a bit crimped butter and a bit fry that it then with the decorative wall. evengrad medium was well hit. delicate was the flesh, well ripened. I had no reason to complain about the court. for both of us dressed a thicker pot pommes. you can eat. the linde is a grounded village small town guesthouse and does not offer any creative, exclusively fresh map. one cooks cheap food for one who probably doesn't want to. in the frame of this own claim, the kitchen had made her job neat and the single cook in the kitchen was formally knocked at our evening with food orders that were called and ordered to the urgent because the gaststube was filled to the last place. I don't understand why they don't better coordinate and avoid that only one gasthof has opened at a night in an area with little tourist influence. the service in the form of the individual older dame, I guess the host of the house was initially a bit chubby to the obviously foreign visitors at the table, but after we ordered one of the most expensive weine (36 eur) of the card, their laune for better changed. the service itself was impeccable. Conclusion: as already described, the linden does not want to offer raised kitchen. is the gas house for the guest who wants to eat simple food at a reasonable price. that is not necessarily what woman and herr Carsten1972 look in strange kulinar, but in the frame of that was the necessary completely ok. and we felt the opportunity to increase us kulinarally."
