"I love La Vela, its local to me and I am biased but it is so worth your visit. Its just north of the Zoo and pretty easy to get to- tram being the best way. Every time we visit we come away saying we should eat there more the food is just excellent. They have an original stone oven pretty much right in the seating area and the atmosphere is very cosy if busy at times. I thought I knew my pizza having visited Napoli a few times but these guys produce the best- thin and crispy with an incredible selection. The owner is Swedish and this gets reflected in the fish dishes at weekends- but start with a pizza. It does get busy at weekends so you could try booking but its cool to just turn up and maybe even share a table with locals. The atmosphere gets lively around ten when they start singing! Trust me you'll love it- all nationalities and more languages than you know!"

Delicious wood oven pizza, best in town. The place is run by a colorful Italian guy. With great wine and nice atmosphere it a great place for a romantic date. Voir le carte

Unfortunately, the pizza is no longer as good as before. the teig seems to have another recipe, is no longer so fluffy and tastes fad. pity, was once our favorite.

I have italian roots and I was looking for an amazing original pizza in Frankfurt. Well, I found it, it's really delicious. But must say that I didin't have a nice experience with the staff, which is important for me as well, so not sure if I come back...
