"The evening didn’t start well as we were shown to a very cramped table, so asked to be moved. The orders were taken and anticipation was high, the starters arrived, mixed salads and bruschetta’s! The white wine arrived quite warm in a carafe and ice...had to be added to reduce the temperature. The mixed salads consisted of lettuce, four pieces of cucumber and tomato, the bruschetta was cold burnt and soggy. The main meals arrived, sirloin penne, mushroom risotto, roast beef Italian style and prawn spaghetti, all a bit of a disaster. The beef steak had to be sent back, far too ****, the penne had tin foil in it, the risotto mushy and over cooked and the spaghetti with its five prawns had big chunks of raw garlic in it. The beef returned from being re cooked just as every one else had finished eating what was edible, it wasn’t any better so didn’t get eaten. The main courses were removed from the bill which isn’t OK if you are still hungry!"

So the pumpkin soup was very different- very citrusy so that the pumpkin flavor was almost overridden. My husband liked his penne with pesto but my salami pizza was way too salty.

we pumped here for a business lunch and unfortunately the experience was very average, the pizza especially overboiled and a little tasteless. the service is quite friendly although the decor is somewhat dirty.

Absolutely fabulous. Great service, great food, reasonably priced. Do not go if you're in a hurry. Waiters are good but I think they could do with another few. Very popular with locals, especially seniors as they have a great senior menu. Might be advisable to...make reservations. We went Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Tuesday was a lot busier than Wednesday. Check your bill! Waiters are so busy. We got incorrect bill by mistake.
