Agréablement surpris. À la recherche d'un restaurant à pied, je suis tombé par hasard sur le restaurant la Robe.

Si je pouvais donner zéro étoile, je le ferais. Nous avons marché 20 minutes pour essayer leur crème brûlée à 22 heures du soir.

Vraiment SYMPA! Que ce soit les salades, les desserts et l'hospitalité! Merci encore pour la chaise haute, le petit livret et la glace à la...

"La Robe" is one of the best restaurants in Bordeaux in its price category. Last time we were 6 people, ordered very different meals, and everybody was more than happy. The service was very cordial and efficient. Would certainly repeat.

Following all reviews we were expecting a way better outcome. The food was served far too quick, not a good sign. The meat was not cooked enough, when we asked them to sort it out, they cooked for 2 mins more. The bread seemed to be from the day before and I'm trying not to sweat in such a hot place.Very disappointing

We ended up here by accident, when looking for somewhere to eat fish. And a very lucky coincidence it was! We had 3 sumptious courses and a nice bottle of white to go with it. Very friendly wif & husband couple that runs the place. He cooks, she serves and had some nice chats with us as it was quiet. But it deserves to be busy, because the food is not only delicious but also well presented.

After a long day of wine tasting my husband craved a good hearty meal. For him a burger. It was so good that he ordered a second!! Best cheese burger we have ever had. burgers at home will just not do anymore. Also duck salad was good. But I stole half of the second burger as it was just so goodBrilliant service. Waitress is very friendly and translated the menu for us to English. Highly recommended

The location is perfect on the river front, and the food is quite simply out of this world. The waitress was on her own tonight but handled things well despite this. Our aubergine starter was superb: balsamic, sun dried tomatoes, aubergine rolls and cheese- to die for! The duck main was delicious to begin with but became stodgy and repetitive unfortunately, a carb overload. But for this, la robe would most certainly have a five.

With my boyfriend, we went to La Robe to have lunch for a special occasion. We had the menu du jour which included wine and coffee (rare in France). Honestly, it was just excellent, nothing to say. The salad was very fresh, obviously made with local products, the steak and my boyfriend's fish were perfectly cooked and crème brûlée was so light and tasty, not full of sugar contrary to what you find around.The atmosphere is very cosy, nice music and lovely staff.I absolutely recommend!
