Recommandé par notre hôtel, ce restaurant est bien situé sur les berges du port. La nourriture est toutefois moyenne, bien que le service et l'accueil aient été chaleureux et rapides.

J'ai pris un très bon repas ici. Le service était excellent et attentionné malgré l'affluence. Le cadre vous plonge dans l'ambiance énergique du port de Cassis. La daurade grillée était fraîche et tout le repas était agréable.

We're local which is why I've said we won't be back. As everyone says, the location like all the rest is great, It's a fast food joint and has great chips but the rest is inconsistent and with fish, that's the kiss of death. The other problem is that the tables are too close together, the chairs are really uncomfortable for sitting for very long and the staff are rushing back and forth lie a marathon which basically gave me indigestion!

We have been visiting Cassis for the last 20 years (during which many things have changed), and gave Laurent another try this summer. We are glad we did. We started with a soup de poisson, then had the catch of the day (Dorade royale.) The food as excellent, fresh and tasty. Our waiter was very pleasant, and the setting is (as most restaurants in the harbour of Cassis) lively and scenic. Would definitely recommend if you like fish. Reservation during summer is recommended, or come early.

le regard de saumon était si délicieux que nous sommes revenus le soir suivant pour en profiter à nouveau ! le service était chaleureux, attentionné et la possibilité de commander et de converser en anglais était très utile. le seul et le soulbream étaient délicieux. la sole était fraîche et sucrée (2 tailles au choix) et les plats à côté de kartoffels, carottes et courgettes étaient de très bon goût. les tables se remplissent rapidement pour que les réservations semblent utiles. nous recommandons ce restaurant chaleureux et y reviendrons.

Ma femme et moi avons visité La Poissonnerie lors de notre première nuit à Cassis. Nous avons tous les deux commandé des moules avec leur sauce "maison". Quand elles sont arrivées, il était évident que les moules n'avaient pas été correctement nettoyées et que beaucoup d'entre elles avaient été réchauffées, ce qui était ironique car la moitié d'entre elles étaient froides. Honnêtement, c'est de notre faute de ne pas les avoir renvoyées, mais après une journée de voyage depuis Paris, nous n'avions tout simplement pas envie de nous embêter. Inutile de dire que nous n'y sommes jamais retournés et nous suggérons à quiconque à la recherche d'une bonne nourriture d'éviter ce lieu également.

Beautiful location and pretty restaurant. We hadn't booked so they asked us to sit at a quayside table while they found a table for us. Very helpful in finding us a table but things went downhill after that. We both decided to have moules frites the moules were ok in themselves but I had 6 closed ones which is a lot for one dish. We were not given a bowl to wash fingers or wipes. I had Provençal sauce which had a strange flavour and was quite unpleasant. My wife had the cream sauce which was better but a bit thick and claggy. Let me start by stating that the restaurant is perfectly situated with a beautiful view of the surrounding scenery; service was good. But when you go to a place like this you expect the food to be relatively edible and probably fresh; it was NEITHER.Fritures mixtes: a mix of mini fish deep fried and a staple of southern french and Mediterranean cuisine was a total failure. The fish were not fresh (probably frozen), not crunchy and tasted stale with a lost a bitter taste.Souped de poisson: the fish soup was blah! Cassis is full of good places to eat and on the marina front outside in good weather couldn't really get any better however I felt the meal we had here could most certainly have been better for the price !This place is a specialist fish venue so choosing a fish dish has to be the way to go...we chose fish soup as a starter which was the same as everyone else's fish soup and I felt it could have been better in content and presentation for 12 euros or thereabouts .!was no different to the bottled fish soup you see in any supermarket.Similar situation with the main course...ordered a sole meuniere which was Ok but not memorable and again at 24/25 euros for the dish, could have been better prese...
