Beautiful place in the middle of a plaza, surrounded by other restaurants, cafes and shops. Beef carpaccio was good as well as the pizzas. Good price and service.

This Time, i eat in this Restaurant one of the Best Pizzas in the near Largo Maggiore. I’m not sure, what the other people have with the Pizza.. I order the Pizza Diavolo and she was Perfect!

Sat in the restaurant in the moment as staying in Stresa for a week, the food is really nice tried to order a desert and the service was terrible it’s like they can’t wait to get rid of it’s a shame as really enjoyed the food so 3 stars

Great restaurant, well situated in the middle of the main square in Stresa. Busy atmosphere but still able to talk to each other. Food was delicious and came really quickly. Our waiter wasn’t the friendliest but it could have been the language barrier and didn’t stop us having a great time! Would definitely recommend

Hard to believe that, with all of the fresh produce in Italy, this place uses nothing but canned. We ate at their outdoor location on the piazza in Stresa. The pizza was virtually inedible, certainly the worst I have ever had. The Green Salad was nothing but a bowl of lettuce with some oil on the side. Service was fine, but stay away from this place if you like good food.

La Piazzetta is a family-run restaurant specialising in pizza, at a very central location in Stresa. The two pizzas I tried were fantastic at a reasonable price. They all have generous amounts of cheese and meat, crust perfect. I would recommend the piccante that contains gorgonzola and spicy salami. The well-mannered staff had excellent knowledge of the wine and prepared a couple of recommended wines to pair with the pizza and side dishes. I fully recommend stopping by here for a genuine Italian experience.

Dreadful. Avoid at all costs. Worst service I’ve ever had. It was a busy evening but the majority of waiting staff were only focussed on turning tables. Not actual service. After ordering, we were given a cold bottle of red wine. When I complained, I was told it was because it was hot outside…(well then keep it temperature controlled, not in the fridge with the white! the glass and bottle actually had condensation on the outside because of how cold the wine was!
