"We were visiting Wetzlar as my wife was working in Marburg and needed some lunch. I had hoped that we could eat at the Fest on Kornmarkt but had a contingency. And that was La Piazza, who were doing the Kornmarkt catering anyway. I read the reviews and the only negatives seemed to come from groups.Firstly, the interior is VERY tasteful. Modern Italian with a touch of country déco but most pleasant. The food too was superb - my wife's country pasta was scrumptious and there were no problems about getting spaghetti with butter and Parmesan for my son. My pizza base looked a little mass produced but had actually clearly been freshly-made. There was also an excellent choice of wines.The waitress (my guess was the boss) did seem a *little* off-hand but we still got everything we wanted and with no problems (my guess is that the fair outside might have been a stress factor).Would I go here again or recommend it? Yes, I would."

Das Ristorante " La Piazza" am Kornmarkt in Wetzlar ist aufgrund seiner Speisen wie Weinauswahl einen Besuch wert.

Leckere italienische Küche, guter Service, hatten Pizza und den frittierten Fisch serviert in einer Holzkiste mit Aioli, Brot und Salat.

super schönes Lokal, top Bedingungen, essen kann ich alles was es dort gibt nur empfehlen. In diesem Haus versteht jeder sein Handwerk. Dort ist jeder Cent gut ausgegeben.

War mit Kollegen hier zum Abendessen - saßen im Freien sehr bequem und angenehm. Guter Wein - sehr gute Vorspeisen und ein leckeres Hauptgericht. War ein gelungener "after work"

Wir sind hier fast Stamgäste und genießen in der Sommerzeit Abends den tollen Blick über Wetzlar bei einen noch besseren Essen.Die Chefin ist das Herz des Lokals und hat immer alles im Griff.

Wir waren mit großer Gruppe spontan im La Piazza. Ein Zusammensitzen war aufgrund unseres spontanen Besuchs leider nicht möglich. Die Vorspeisen waren alle sehr gut. Leider war mein Hauptgericht (Lasagne) sehr fettig und geschmacklich nicht meins. Die Hauptgericht meiner Begleiter waren aber in Ordnung.

Ich war schon öfters mittags dort essen und habe sowohl Mittagstisch als auch regulär aus der Karte gegessen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis des Mittagstisch (Suppe, Hauptgericht, ein Getränk, ein Espresso für 9,90) finde ich schon extrem gut. Besonders gut hat mir dort auch die Nudeln mit Lachs sowie Tomate mit Büffelmozzarella geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Öfters fällt mir allerdings die Chefin negativ auf. Sie ist sehr forsch. Mittlerweile weiss ich, dass sie einfach so ist. Aber ich kann absolut verstehen dass viele sie als unfreundlich wahrnehmen. Das sollte definitiv mal überdacht werden.
