La Pergolade - Menu

I can't say enough about this place.the service is amazing. The view is amazing. And of course the food is to die for. Such a nice friendly bunch of people serving us. We will definitely be going back again.

Great food for a good price, nice people and beatiful garden. It's worth going there for lunch instead of paying much more in more popular places. If you go there for lunch than you pay less for the same dishes as for dinner so it's a good deal. They have their own fresh fish (trout) and very good beef. We were very satisfied with everything.

This restaurant is situated a bit off. Seems to be just another place along the road, but something made us visit it for a light meal. Well, we stayed for more than a light meal. We had a few rounds of fantastic food, great wines - and also very good beers! I can assure that next time we come to this area, we will rush to this place for lunch or dinner - or both - or a combo!

Nous avons eu un dîner romantique et charmant avec une très bonne nourriture et un très bon service. L'endroit pour passer une soirée adorable, en musique et avec une cuisine très savoureuse et réalisée localement. Nous avions la table au bord du lac, un excellent service et parlant anglais. L'endroit pour passer une adorable soirée avec parking, et même avec du pain frais, chaud et fabriqué localement, ce qui est rare ici. Et le canard était parfait ! Recommander !

Notre invité (et nous) avions clairement mal compris le menu et lorsque le plat principal est arrivé, il s'est avéré que notre invité ne pouvait pas manger. Nous avons brièvement expliqué et demandé poliment s'il pouvait être changé de toute façon. La réponse a été un non bourru. On ne pose pas un plat devant un invité qui, lorsqu'il essaie d'expliquer la confusion du menu, se voit répondre de manière catégorique et sans proposer de solutions. Pas à ces prix. À la fin, j'ai dû renoncer à mon propre repas pour quelque chose que je ne voulais vraiment pas. Un service client terrible.

I've lived summers in the Roquebrune S/A area for over 15 years and never thought of stopping here. A small lakeside fishing and dining area out in the countryside has been re-opened by an experienced chef from Paris and his charming and tasteful wife, et voila, La Pergolade Restaurant. Chef Alain, Jocelyn and staff are treating their clients to lunch and dinner dining opportunities not to be missed. The limited, but enticing menu, with daily specials has been a treat for me over the past several weeks. I've tried the entire menu at Jocelyn and the servers suggestions and am now returning for 2nd's! Choose a table at the water's edge and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and, of course, the men...

Our first visit to this restaurant was in October 2016. It is in a very pretty location and has tables outside facing a fishing lake and a good sized indoor seating space. The outdoor seating area is covered by a pergola, hence the name of the restaurant, the dappled sunlight through the pergola is great for eating even in full sun. The food was so good on our first visit we returned within days. My favourite starter is the scrambled eggs with truffle shavings "œufs brouillés aux truffes minute" and favourite desert the outstanding apple tart. Réservation de dernière minute pour un déjeuner tardif après être allés dans un autre restaurant à Rocquebrune sur Argens La Bonne Etoile (après notre départ des États-Unis via Paris, en voiture de location puis 52 minutes jusqu'à notre AirBnB)... nous avons été faits. Donc, après avoir été refusés, car nous n'avions pas de réservations, et c'était le soir de Noël, j'ai sauté sur Google et j'ai obtenu une réservation au Pergolade. Quel DELICE. Facile, sympathique, flexible. Nous étions un groupe de 6 adultes jeunes, le service était parfait ! Accueillis avec des sourires et des salutations. Je suppose que j'y reviendrai particulièrement parce que nous avions tellement faim et étions fatigués...

If you read this, please please support this restaurant.Our last meal before going home from a lovely holiday and it could not have been better. French cuisine that so often fails to deliver is here in spades. This was by far the best meal of the whole trip and I think probably one of the best meals I have ever eaten.The setting is beautiful at night with the lights around the lake.The lady in charge, and she is very much in charge but with a great sense of humour, could not be more helpful - if you ask and preferably in French.The food is clearly all prepared fresh and is sumptuous. The menu is not too big and fussy eaters might struggle, although a fantastic salad was made for a fussy teen...
