Love this place but the second we ate here it was not as good. Not sure if they were short staffed or what but it didn't seem the same. The first time the waitress was lovely and helpful and we enjoyed our moules and frites very much. The second time we both had fish, mine was a grey colour in a curry sauce, tasty fine but just looked a bit unappetising. My husband's fish was nicer. But a very nice place, we would go again.

We end up at this place most years in particularly for me the mouclade Mussels in a curry sauce. No where does anybody made it as good as they do there. The staff in pretty consistent which is nice but the lady we normally looks after us was on a different tables. (do like the new hair colour, really suits you.)The young lady who did look after us could not have been nicer.This is a good restaurant in all aspects and is well worth a visit. My wife always has fish of some sort but always finds it is well cooked and presented.

We had the menu for 14,80 €, as a starter you can choose between two different salads. They are both ok. For the main dish they offer mussels and fish. Both portions were rather small, the mussels tasty, the fish very boring. For the dessert you have the choice between an apple cake and some fruits (out of a can).Within the kids menu (9,80 €, incl. a drink) you can choose mussels too. For kids the portion was really reasonable. As a dessert they offer fruits (see above) and ice cream (convenient food).The service was kind the ambience is nice, however the food not really convincing.

Nous avons choisi ce restaurant car il semblait agréable et le menu à 14,80€ était d'un bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous avons commencé avec la salade de fruits de mer qui était en réalité une assiette de laitue avec quelques morceaux de thon et quelques moules dessus. La serveuse nous a apporté un petit panier de pain (trois petites tranches de pain sec avec de gros trous). Mon mari voulait depuis un moment des Moules Frites, c'est donc ce qu'il a pris et il a apprécié, j'ai pris le Merlu et frites qui était correct. Pour le dessert, j'ai pris la salade de fruits qui était juste des fruits frais et rien d'autre. Mon mari a pris le gâteau aux pommes.

Notre retour annuel parle de lui-même. C'est un très bon restaurant familial avec un service serviable. Il y a une bonne variété de plats allant des fruits de mer aux viandes. Tout est bien préparé. Il y a des menus fixes et à la carte pour convenir à tous les budgets. Il est toujours occupé par des vacanciers, ce qui n'est pas surprenant car il occupe un emplacement privilégié sur la rue principale. Il y a beaucoup de concurrence et donc une bonne affluence est un bon indicateur. Il est animé avec une ambiance joyeuse. C'était notre première visite avec un bébé dans les bras (ma petite-fille). Le personnel a été très utile pour nous installer dans une bonne position avec amplement d'espace...

As frequent vistors to Ronce Les Bains, we had always passed this restaurant thinking how attractive and inviting it looked, but had never frequented it. To mark a special family and friends reunion, we decided to go but what a disaster. The starters were fine. However the main courses arrived at different times so that some off us had almost finished when others had yet to start; the food was cold, the portion sizes in some cases minuscule and the steaks were 75% fat! When we approached the proprietor for a reduction in our bill he was not that interested and it took 30 minutes of heated argument to get some money back. Nous avons mangé ici de nombreuses fois au cours des vingt dernières années environ. C'est un excellent restaurant familial et nous avions juste besoin de l'excuse des petits-enfants pour y retourner. Il occupe un bon emplacement sur la rue principale avec la plage juste à l'arrière. La décoration est en bon état et est lumineuse et accueillante. Le personnel est attentionné et serviable, et notre serveuse parlait un anglais raisonnable, donc avec notre français passable nous avons réussi à nous en sortir. Used to go here regularly years ago and thought we’d call in on the way back from a family trip to the zoo. We were the first to arrive and thought the service would be attentive as we were the only ones there. Wrong. The wait for each order was long and got worse as more people arrived. The youngest member of the family was happy with his galette, but the oldest was totally unimpressed with his entrecote steak which was tough and overcooked. The mussels were very small and tasteless. The salads were OK, and the desserts were probably the best of what turned out to be a disappointing experience. We were in Ronce at lunchtime one very quiet Friday in late September. Many of the shops had closed for the season and there were only a few people about. Most of the restaurants had no-one in at 12:30 but this looked the best option. Over the course of the meal it gradually filled and we were looked after well. We took two menus 'coursive', one with steak and the other salmon. The steak was tasty if a bit fatty, but ample with the fat cut off, the salmon was slightly small, though adequate, and presented in a tasty seafood sauce.
