We had such a good dinner, it was really in Italy with big tables, big families, and we two. Helpful waiters, friendly atmosphere and excellent food and beautiful wine. We had antipasti and then the Pasta vongole. Coffee and special Lambrosia

Very popular with both the locals. Easy parking. Very helpful and efficient waiters. Food awesome and plentiful. There's a wide selection of wines. Can be very busy but well worth the wait. Great atmosphere. Confident you will enjoy eating here.

Really enjoyed our meal bruschetta was so fresh and tasty and my spaghetti al mare had lovely pieces of mussels, clams, and other. Service very attentive and professional. Greg wine selection with 33cl and 50cl bottles if you don’t want a full bottle. Highly recommend.

If you are staying on the north side of Catania and want to go where the locals go try this place. The food was excellent seafood/fish are the obvious choices and both our meals where excellent. Prices couldn't be better great value, great food excellent service. Wait staff does speak English, although your Italian wouldn't hurt.

Try other places. I'm from Catania and right now I'm sitting at home of their table. We ordered two pasta with vongole. The vongole were cold, the pasta was disgusting. I've made them cook it again because the first time was cooked for 30 minutes and with a kg of salt, the second time was uncooked and not tasty at all. The only good thing was the bruschetta as start and the chocolates at the end. My family used to come years ago and the food was special. I will never eat here again. The waiters are good though.

If you like to eat with the locals and not the tourists, give this place a try. The restaurant is located in San Gregorio, anonymous suburbs a short taxi ride from the middle of the city. The ambience is somewhat retró, but this is also part of the experience. Fish dishes are prepared according to the traditional recipe and with local ingredients. We started with a fish cup for all of us. It was a whole meal! Fish plates came. Fish, fish salads, roasted fish, shellfish, fried fish, all excellent. The appetizer itself is a complete dinner. To follow, we had two Kinf of Pasta, Gnocchetti al nero di seppia were excellent. The staff was friendly, funny and attentive. Appropriate price
