This is surely THE BEST restaurant I have visited in Rome. 100% recommended for everyone who wants to go back to medieval times and to eat delicious food with atmosphere presentation.

we stayed with a groupon in this local historian; position furnished as a rule of art, impeccable service and delicious and quality dishes, a beautiful place to celebrate an event or a special occasion.

The medieval reconstruction creates a particular, romantic and mysterious environment. All dishes rich in flavors and history, prepared with art and presented with wisdom by the Roman cook. A magical restaurant with special events such as the sword tournament and the hour of shadows. Do not miss.

La proposta è molto originale. Ti trovi immerso un un contesto medioevale. Si ha anche la possibilità di mangiare dei piatti dell'epoca. Particolarmente interessante anche la possibilità di bere all'interno di corni o calici molto decorati. Insomma la formula è molto carina. Il personale l'ho trovato un tantino disattento ed i prezzi un po alti ma ne vale la pena

We were so looking forward to this meal and what a huge disappointment. Got there at 6.30 not set up . Host could not really speak English. So hard to get what we wanted had few drink tasted all same like beer than has the Largs mix grill meat fatty and some taste of garlic whe say bo garlic I hate garlic. Meat was dry . A friend recommended Avalon and I visited yesterday earlier than dinner time because of travel. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the food I asked for a vegetarian option was delicious and also had a very good red wine. I bought one of the medieval collectibles they sell too and was very pleased with my visit. I can see why this medieval restaurant and bar is so popular and can highly recommend it.

Sono stata per la prima volta volta in questo locale con degli amici che sono dei clienti abituali. Sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita dall atmosfera, sembra davvero di essere nel medioevo, locale molto bello e caratteristico personale cortese e simpatico. Abbiamo preso un ottimo antipasto con fritti e affettati, fritti particolare e davvero ottimi. Una grigliata di carne servita nella spada davvero molto buona. Buono anche il dolce fatto in casa. Forse un tantino caro ma ci sta essendo un ambiente particolare. Un posticino davvero carino per trascorrere una serata un po' fuori dall'ordinario.

We loved this place, mostly for the atmosphere and theme! Would be even more amazing if they did some entertainment we did something in Prague similar that had entertainment). The starter was not good though, we shared a starter that had chilli cheese bites etc that were clearly just fried frozen bought but it was cheap so can’t complain) the main however was awesome! I can’t remember the name but it was basically mixed grill meat on a sword!!! So delicious, we asked for it with fries instead of baked potato which they happily did for us. Didn’t enjoy the wine wasn’t as nice as other house wine we tried in Rome) but again it was cheap so didn’t expect much. It’s not as central as we thought...

We had such a great time at La Leggenda Di Avalon. We were celebrating our anniversary and having dinner with my brother and his girlfriend. The atmosphere was amazing, felt like stepping back in time. We were welcomed and served throughout the night by Federico who was a great host and made us feel at ease from the first moment. He was quick to offer advice when asked and had a thorough knowledge of the menu items, his suggestion for drinks was much appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious and themed to match the medieval feel of the place.
