"I went to this restaurant just before Christmas with my daughter. We had a hearty breakfast before heading out for a walk at Wicken Fen. The cafe staff were friendly and accommodating for those with celiac disease. However, we were both disappointed with the presentation of the breakfast. The portions were small and didn't fill the plate as expected for a full breakfast. My gluten-free breakfast included 1 egg, bacon, beans, and gluten-free toast. A flat white and an orange juice cost over £6. While I have heard good things about the quality of the ingredients used, I won't be returning for breakfast anytime soon."

Could not understand why such a quality farm shop stocked only one local cheese. For example, there was French and Somerset Brie on sale, but not Suffolk Brie which is far superior. Shameful

Countryside farm shop with an abundance of local produce, an excellent selection of pickles and jams purchased and enjoyed during our vacation in Cambridgeshire. Coffee taken at the cafe too.

We love to come here for our welcome home lunch and treat our friend who picks us up from the airport. Love their tea and sweets. This time we had the tomato and chutney sandwich with cheese and a side of chips. Our friend had the full English. Delicious as always.

Unfortunately the following day all members of the family were sick upset stomachs and vomiting. Given the only items common in our menu were the salads and we were from separate households guess greater care needs to be taken in food preparation during the hot weather. Voir le carte

Nice large cafe as part of the farm shop with kids outside play area. Plenty of seating inside and covered outside to keep the rain off. Good cafe menu and all day breakfast. Easy access for wheel chairs and buggies with easy access toilets. Plenty of parking. Definitely recommend. Please like if this helped.

The food is of good quality and well presented at this restaurant. However, they have a strict no substitution policy, meaning you have to pay for any changes to your order. This can end up being expensive. I haven't found any other restaurants nearby with a similar policy, so this often makes this place my second choice.

Ive been to this place twice now and I can honestly say that this is the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Every item on the plate is of the highest quality. I had the farmhouse breakfast both times and at £12.99 it is at the more expensive end for a breakfast but it is worth every penny!! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back! Voir le carte

A great dog-friendly restaurant to visit on your way to Norfolk. The paninis were delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only negative for me was the somewhat boastful historical explanation of the name on the blackboard near the tills. It might not be very appealing to international visitors. But overall, it was a fantastic discovery!

A very busy place but we were served very quickly and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. Great value for money and the most amazing desserts I’ve ever seen. All the staff were really friendly and all worked so well together. Lovely farm shop with a good selection of well priced outdoor plants. Definitely our new stop on the way to Norfolk, thank you to the member of staff who gave us the leaflet so we can find it on the way back!

"My friend kindly decided to take me another friend along to this her local pub for Xmas lunch on the 12th of December which we were all looking forward too, as we have eaten there before. Unfortunately on entering the pub it seemed quite cold as there was no open fire lite when we asked they told us they had run out of kindling, so we kept out coats on for sometime until we all warmed up. Then when we kindly asked for the menu unfortunately they had none of these as apparently they had ran out of ink for there printer so we then had to look at there written board on the wall, which had fish chips added to it. We were then told by the waitress they had no chips lol but you can have potatoes, unbelievable for a pub to run out of chips. When our meals arrived it was quite disappointing for a Christmas dinner the Yorkshire pud was completely flat, but you did get vegetables served separately which were quite a good variety even though there wasn’t lots. We then went onto order our deserts Once again to add disappointment they didn’t have any crème brûlée so the choice was just Xmas pud with brandy butter or ice cream. So one of my friends could only have ice cream as she’s gluten free who always fancies that on a cold day, me my other friend had the Xmas pud that was served in a pie dish which was not very appealing or professional looking it was served with custard not the brandy butter like the menu said. We did complain as my friends Xmas pud was also lukewarm they did kindly apologise warm it up. Because we complained they did take some of our bill. But I don’t think we will be visiting again anytime soon."
