"We looked forward to our night in Ravenna and dinner at La Gardella. I will start off by saying the food and drink were very good bit alas that is where it ends. We started the evening with no less that 4 servers in our area. Two and a half hours there was only 1 gentleman for the entire section. They cleared our dishes he asked if we wanted coffee and dessert and disappeared. 40 minites I asked the maitre D’ for our check and waited 15 minutes more before finally receiving and paying. It was unfortunate that such a wonderful night turned into an unmitigated disaster."

practically one of the old restaurants that arouse the guarantee, so much choice of dishes, and also the menu of the day. fast and efficient service, and also the dishes were good. excellent broth with calves, as well as fresh pasta

Busy, central, mid range restaurant. We ate here twice during our stay in Ravenna. Food was good especially the sardine starter (one is more than enough for two) and they do local wine by the carafe. Service is included. I would recommend.

Working your way through all the mosaics on the combo ticket in Ravenna sure worked up an appetite. Easily seated here and provided an english menu. Local wine and pasta, cant get much better than that. Affordable prices for a great meal. Highly recommend stopping in.

A bit of an old fashioned place of varying quality. Nice starter of salami, ham, etc, but a bit too large a portion. Pasta dish mashed potato in ravioli with chopped mushrooms quite unpleasant and very bland. Excellent grilled meat after that and nice desert. Awful house wine!
