"Our travel planner had made a lunch reservation for my family (me, my husband and our 5.5 year old daughter) at this very cozy and nice restaurant in Naples, in the Vomero neighborhood for New Years Day. We were running a bit late but they were very accommodating. We didn't realize it was a pre fixe lunch menu for New Years Day until we got there, which was fine because we were starving. For my daughter, the waiter immediately suggested penne with tomato sauce instead of the full menu, and hands down it was the best penne and tomato sauce I had ever had. My daughter ate the ENTIRE bowl and she rarely finishes everything on her plate. The service was great and the pre fixe menu was fantastic we were stuffed by the end I am not a huge seafood fan, but my husband is, and he loved everything they offered. I also found much of the pre fixed menu very tasty the kicker to me was my daughter ate the octopus dish it was her first time eating it and loved it! I can say that our trip to Italy and specifically, La Frescheria definitely has expanded her taste buds since we got back to the US. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Naples, who is looking for good local seafood. And the Vomero neighborhood is wonderful a breath of fresh air compared to the Naples City Center!"

menu limited as choice in an environment now definitely moved when it was previously informal and functional (oura ? little maintenance cause covid with a little care. It is not discussed on the quality and freshness of the fish served certainly optimal in particular the raw but the high prices impose that the served is at least fresh... the setting and the atmosphere but ' ruin everything..x this my stars

Absolutely outstanding! This was one of the best meals I've had this year, anywhere! The crudo was so fresh and clean and delicious, I've rarely had better, and the Asian flair of the sauces added a special touch that really went well with the individual types (scampi, prawns, salmon, barracuda, baccalà and another sea fish). The mixed grill again had fish of premium quality, all cooked perfectly except the tuna (more than some like, I generally don't opt for tuna in any case, so irrelevant to the overall quality). And then the dessert... Babà with whipped cream and berries, a piece of heaven dripping in sweetness. Top it all off with a lovely setting, supremely professional and attentive se...
