"Sarò breve. Location: non si può neanche dare un voto, andateci (possibilmente arrivate prima del tramonto)!! Servizio attento con personale giovane e preparato. Cibo: c 'ero stato anni fa e non me lo ricordavo così buono. Veramente ottime sia le portate di pesce che di carne. Noi abbiamo fatto il menù degustazione di 5 portate (con abbinato il percorso degustazione di 5 calici) che sazia (alla fine fatichi a finire il dolce) e che trovo incredibilmente conveniente a 50€ a testa se si considera l 'alto livello del ristorante e i prezzi di oggi. Per intendersi: se si vuole passare una serata che regge il confronto in centro a Lucca si spende 30€ in più a testa rispetto a ciò che abbiamo speso noi qua... Se devo mettere un piccolo asterisco (con intento costruttivo e non di critica), non mi convince molto il fatto che la carta dei vini sia solo con i vini di loro produzione... ma come direte voi è il suo bello! ...è vero è molto carina come cosa, però per un appassionato di vini limita un po ' il divertimento e la curiosità che si ha nello sfogliare una bella carta dei vini e scegliere tra una miriade di etichette...soprattutto questo vale ancor di più se il cliente è della zona e conosce già i loro vini... Comunque questo piccolo particolare non inficia minimamente sul voto finale della serata che è assolutamente un 10/10: siamo stati da Dio e lo consiglio a tutti (anche a chi come me c 'era già stato anni fa...perché, a mio parere, il livello si è alzato notevolmente, mantenendo di fatto i soliti prezzi)"

"Are you around the lucca area or heading to Florence from the east then this is the perfect place to stop and enjoy really sensational food done right.. the only annoying issue with this restaurant is your appetite.. in oz this would be considered for a hatted restaurant... the service is superb, the food oh the food and the aperol spritz .. best for the last 3 weeks in Italy... in fact out of all the restaurants I've eaten in this is in the top 5. What appears to be a country restaurant it leaves them all for flavour, great food and drinks.. I really can't say enough about how good this restaurant is.. Michelin ratings where are you this is just the best. We went back a second time just to see it wasn't a mistake.. oh wow.. just plan around Tuesday (it's closed). Do yourself a flavour this is the restaurant to enjoy in Tuscany and Italy."

"Siamo stati in questo ristorante per le recensioni trovate sul web e soprattutto per provarne la carne. Confermiamo quanto di buono si dice: cibo ottimo, ciccia ottima e prezzi molto convenienti. Abbiamo preso un antipasto misto composto da un tagliere di salumi ottimi, fagioli al fiasco, farro e bruschette miste. A seguire ravioli di carne al ragù e stracciati ai porcini, entrambi ottimi e per soli 6€ a piatti. Dulcis in fundo una tagliata per 2 persone che non è una tagliata ma che è una bistecca Fiorentina da circa 1/1,2 kg servita già tagliata a striscette e con il suo osso li, per chi ama terminare la pulizia dell’osso in modo approfondito. La cottura assolutamente perfetta, tant’è che non ti chiedono nemmeno il tipo di cottura desiderata, si va in automatico. I dolci non li abbiamo provati perché non c’era più posto nello stomaco. Nel complesso consigliatosi mi per tutti, ma in particolare per chi ama la carne fatta bene e vale il viaggio in un paesino non super turistico come il resto della regione."
