A little pricey but the food was great. Next to the train station.

Spent a great evening here with friends and family. Luckily we had some locals with translating skills to help us with the menu. Food & service were great in a period in a stylish setting.

quite large locality that looks in oldenburg! in my eyes unfortunately somewhat less known, perhaps especially worth a visit! eating is good too good; they realize and taste that someone is very busy when they choose and compile! the value for money is good!

Wir waren gestern in der Klinkerburg zum Abendessen. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und schick. Das Personal war super nett und zuvorkommend und das Essen vom Gruß aus der Küche, über die Suppe, dem Hauptgang bis hin zum Dessert ein echter Geschmacksorgasmus. Überragend! Rundum Wohlfühlen bei sehr feiner Küche! Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Abend.

This restaurant occupies the original first class waiting room in the main station of Oldenburg. A fine bar, comprehensive wine list, and in my opinion the finest dining experience in Oldenburg with a menu to fit any palette. From a Klinkerburger to a top quality Argentinian steak the food is prepared with style and care. The service is attentive but unobtrusive and definitely welcoming. For the fresh air addicts there's a terrace on the station forecourt facing the original sovereign's waiting room. Best thing is you don't have to drive - just catch the train .....

Wanted to try the Klinkerburg because of the positive reviews, and we were not disappointed. Just had a lunch there, but you see from the start that this place has a distinct atmosphere, that´s because the restaurant is housed in a former railway station hall; the thick walls and their decoration have a specific kind of charm, but some might perceive it as a bit cold - so it´s not the cosiest type of place. But still nicely made. Friendly service, good food, and the prices for lunch are not high at all. Will surely go back there. Conveniently located adjacent to the rail station, or a five minute walk from the old town.

Unfortunately, the klinkerburg is somehow not on the radar of many people when it comes to choosing a good restaurant for lunch or dinner. maybe it’s the location at the train station maybe because many are here regularly through the respective service clubs. but the schnegelsberg family offers a very good quality lunch and a very good dinner menu with a corresponding wine list. there are great historic rooms and a nice little terrace why am i only here at lunchtime? : (original somehow, the klinkerburg is unfortunately not on the radar when it comes to selecting a good restaurant for lunch or evening. maybe it's the location at the train station, perhaps also because many are regularly here...
