"Second viist here and came away very, very impressed. Service is relaxed but faultless. The whole team are aware of what is needed on each table and provide that service in a very timely fashion. The food is fantastic. The beetroot tower is wonderful, the boudin noir was delightful, miso soup very nice although not sure why it needed ham in it? Tuna Tataki very, very nice although very marginally overcooked to the way I like it. Cheese and biscuits are a cut above what is often served. There is a menu offering of 4 or 5 courses, 4 course menu is €59 and there can also be matching wines although this option looked a little expensive. There is a good wine list with offerings to suit most budgets. The room itself is more or less split into three fairly small spaces so feel fairly intimate. Space around the tables could feel a tiny bit cramped if the place was totally full. This restaurant is going places and will be very highly rated in Munich."

Right across Hotel Blauer Bock, in the centre of Munich I found this little restaurant. It is not the cheapest, but the quality is most certainly worth the price. Not very touristic.

We celebrated a colleagues birthday at lunchtime, sitting outside drinking wine. The wine pairing was fantastic, food was nicely executed and decorated and the menu, though not extensive, had enough varieties for every taste.

Came here with colleagues and what a great experience. Food was certainly tasty and staff were so knowledgeable. The place is quite basic in terms of furniture but it does give you a sense of intimacy. Our party had various starters and my Spicy Tuna Tartare was absolutely amazing! Certainly recommend this place and keep up the good work. Voir le carte

I fell into this restaurant as a heavy rain storm hit, I was actually searching for typican Bavarian food. Staff could not be more welcoming. Small menu but good options. Went with soup and monk fish which was just divine. Was not sure about the balsamic sauce but still going with excellent on this. Wines great too.€50 for 2 course wine and coffee but worth it I feel.

Went here on a warm Summer night and sat outside. The food was really tasty and beautifully presented. I had the amazing 'crispy green tiger' - not an actual tiger but lovely crunchy tiger prawns served with exotic fruits and hot spices. Definitely recommendable! The sommelier suggested some really nice German wine to go with it. The service was friendly and attentive. I will come again for sure!Don't forget to book a table in advance ;-)

I was taken to Kleinschmecker by a friend and had a thoroughly excellent meal. Whilst the portion sizes are on the small size the quality of the meal was amazing and I have not tasted such good and uniquely different food in a long time. The waiters were also very attentive and their wine recommendations suited the food perfectly. If I was visiting Munich again I would definitely return but I would go for the set dinner with more courses. Voir le carte

We had a pleasant dinner there on a Saturday evening. Inside, the restaurant is rather small and cozy, on warm summer evenings or over lunch in spring, the outside seating on a pedestrian square looks more attractive.Service was excellent, we went for dishes from their special offer white board, and were lucky to be early, as they quickly ran out of those items. Food is good and creative, we only wished that the dry-aged entrecôte would have been a bit softer. They have a big wine list, sorted by grape varieties, stocked with mostly expensive bottles beyond 50 Euros. We ended up paying 170 Euros for two, for three courses of which dessert was shared.

We passed the restaurant looking for a nice place in the sun and have a pre-dinner drink. We stayed for more. The head waiter and the waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes and wines. We started with two fish dishes and were very impressed by the presentation of the dishes and the taste of the ingredients and the combination thereof. We stayed on to taste the beef and, again, were positively impressed by the presentation of the dish and the quality of the meat. The wine recommendation was excellent. Our neighbours were having a surpise several-course menu which looked superbly presented and which elicitated happy smiles at the next table. We decided we will come back f...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
