I fled in here from the rain today, drenched and quite unhappy with the day. Had a breakfast Linz and some absolutely perfect coffee, very quiet today, lovely music, friendly service! Now I'm ready to face the stormy weather again :

Fantastic and truly imperial. Very tasteful and decorated with great attention to detail. The dishes are authentically tasty and the owner (a real Austrian) as well as the enchanting employees in the service are remarkably attentive and very competent. This gem with a wonderful sun terrace in Hafencity I have discovered for me and recommend it to everyone who has the standard and who are looking for the special of our days.

If you like interior design, you 'd be pretty much satisfied in this little austrian café. Fine cakes (e.g. Sacher, Frankfurter Kranz), very delicous. And in case you are not looking for typical austrian flourfood (mehlspeisen), the hearty snacks have my recommendation as well. Weisswurst und Brezn with sweet mustard, as well as beef meatballs with salad for less than 7 euro in that kind of athmosphere, marvelous. Drinks are sort of pricy, but for the location still affordable.

We liked this place although I can understand how some people may have things to complain about. I found the interior as well as outdoor seating very inviting and service was competent yet somewhat slow. The woman, whom I believe owns this place, tends to stay inside. She seems to be the most service oriented but usually doesn 't do waitressing to tables. Anyway, we come here for the cakes and quite enjoy them. The selection may be somewhat limited but they always seems to have something we enjoy. I especially like their assortment of coffees and usually get a Grosser Brauner which is my favorite.
