Kintan Japanese Bbq

Last April me and my family had a great time at Kintan. The food was delicious and the next time I am in London i‘ll visit again.

This is our second Japanese “do it yourself” experience and really enjoyed it. The food and drinks came out very quickly and would definitely return.

Nice cozy restaurant, all dishes were delicious, service was friendly however we had to wait long time for drinks and keep reminding our waiter for them. Definitely recommend the place Voir le carte

Superb Bbq.. Thinly sliced meats and veggies slowly cooked over a heated grill whole you take in the ambience, drink and converse. A wholly civilised delicious dining experience. Can't wait to go back.

This was a restaurant I stumbled upon and was so glad. They have happy hour even on a Sunday from 9pm until they close. You’re able to cook your own meat over a grill in the centre of the table that creates a wonderful fun atmosphere.

Very good meal, usually, as I’m not eating fish Japanese restaurants aren’t my thing however I must say that the meal at Kintan exceeded my expectations, the thin slices of meat or a BBQ were just melting on the mouth I will certainly go back to try other options on the menu Voir le carte

I have been coming to Kintan for 8 years. The food is excellent, the service is fine, but it is all an excellent experience. Highly recommend checking the website for the happy hour times which are currently 11:30 6 Tuesday Sunday and 2100 late and All day Mondays. Happy hour gives ~50% off drinks and ~1/3 off food which makes it an absolute bargain.

We ordered meat, and beer, and food was decent I would not say it is Japanese, but at least it is grilled meat (bbq). However, after being moved to a tiny table with the 5 of us the seating became very uncomfortable. To top that, we were then constantly harrassed by the waiters if we wanted to order more, then the final straw was when he took out a bill when we were still eating and drinking. Not sure if i would rush back or recommend to anyone else.

Terrible service, place is dirty, table was sticky. Asked staff to clean the table again cause the table was sticky. Got handed extra napkins to clean ourselves. Ordered sauces to go with our BBQ. Had to remind the server 3 times. It wasn't even busy. Ordered beef slices, got super fatty cuts to the point there was basically no meat. Seats were all run down and covers were all falling apart. Our grill was not changed once during the hour we were BBQing. For a table of 2 we paid close to 100 pounds and for that money a better food and experience can easily be had elsewhere. For a Japanese restaurant the lack of attention to detail was simply shocking. Would not recommend. Voir le carte
