eating at xo was extremely fresh and tasted excuisit, but the service was very slow and the waiters and waiters were quite rude.

The portions at this restaurant are huge, the prices are on the higher side but the food is of good quality. The wait time for delivery through Just Eat was a bit longer than anticipated, but it's understandable given the current circumstances.

This sushi restaurant is definitely the worst in the area. The sushi and sashimi box meant for 3 people was barely enough for 2, and the quality was extremely simple. Some of the sushi rolls even just had salad and cucumber. It was also very overpriced at over £35. I have tried many sushi delivery options in the area, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place. Instead, try places like Eat Tokyo (for takeout only), Feng Sushi, or even Yo Sushi. I tried to speak to the manager to complain, but he just lied and said they were selling the food at a loss because it was so good. If someone has to repeat "to be honest" that much, it's a red flag.

XO XO is an Asian fusion restaurant in North London by the team that owns hot spots such as La Bodega Negra and The Box. I went for an early dinner on a Sunday evening, as they were fully booked in the peak hours of eating. I had heard that everything is 40 off on Sunday, which holds a probable explanation to its popularity. Their menu is rather short, but the selection is enticing. XO has all the chicness of Mayfair but it's local enough that the thought of going there on a cold Sunday night isn't daunting. Local is of course subjective, but for those who don't live in or near the area, luckily XO is part of the Ricker group of restaurants so has sister pan-Asian restaurants, namely Great Eastern Dining Room in Shoreditch and e&o in Notting Hill. I recently became aware that La Bodega Negra is part of the same group but the vibe, not to the mention the food, is very different. What makes it so chic is the lighting and decor. XO is a nice asian fusion restaurant, the room is dimly lit and the restaurant is decorated in chic darker tones. Although it is a pretty large restaurant, in the evenings it can get quite full, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. It is a bit expensive but I ate really well here. It is definitely a better place to go to for dinner than lunch. They serve small portions so that you can have a variety of dishes and that way you end up trying a bit of everything. I liked that a lot because I thought that they had some interesting sounding dishes so I enjoyed the idea of being able to try a few out.
