"We booked our Christmas dinner here. It was expensive at £100 a head for the adults and £50 a head for my 6 yr old and for my under 2 yr old! So we had high hopes . Awful service, waiting almost an hour for our starters without an apology. We were offered “complimentary” hors d’oeuvres which were X2 leaves of a little gem lettuce with finely chopped feta, tomato and cucumber on between 5 of us!!! Eventually our underwhelming staters arrived followed by a dull main course. My mum’s meal was missing parsnip and cranberry sauce which the staff couldn’t care less about when I mentioned it to them. All in all the staff seemed unhappy to be there and their focus seemed to be on sending tray after tray of fancy looking hors d’oeuvres to a private party upstairs. It’s such a shame as were local and had it been a good day we would have returned annually as it is I would warn anyone off. Really overpriced and horribly disappointing, never again."

What a lovely venue, with lovely food and amazing staff. Nic and Dom were so lovely from the moment I entered to the moment I left. Will definitely busy again and definitely recommend.

On December 10th, we treated my mom to The King's Head for her birthday. The food was superb, the service was fantastic, and we all had a wonderful time. We definitely plan on returning soon.

The food at this restaurant is always delicious, and the service, which used to be inconsistent, has improved. We made a reservation for a New Year's Eve lunch, as did many others. The atmosphere was great, the service was prompt, and the food was tasty.

We (party of 17) had Xmas lunch in The Green Room upstairs at The KIngs Head. Everything was excellent, from decor and ambience of the room, to the food, drink and service. Our dedicated waitress (Lucy) was an absolute star. Thanks to Piers, Marta and all the team.

This is my favourite pub in North London. I’m constantly doing work or meeting with friends for a drink at the kings head It’s perfect for all occasions. The best part about this pub is Dominique. She’s the most welcoming and entertaining person and she is the reason why many people go back to visit. By far the best hot chocolate in north London for sure. You HAVE to go to the kings head!! Always amazing service by Domaniqe who I have thought was running the establishment for a long time, always friendly well presented and helpful, food is always on point you can't go wrong with both front and back of house service and that's comming from a professional chef who has been at the top of the industry, Dominique is a credit to the establishment well done! I might poach her for a project soon lol !

We had a good experience at our Christmas Day lunch. The atmosphere was pleasant. A few things prevented me from giving 5 stars. Our 18-year-old son was not served alcohol due to lack of ID, which seemed a bit strict considering he was with his parents. The scallop starter came in a shell on a bed of salt, which made it very salty. I should have been informed beforehand. The main course was good, although the portion of duck breast was small. I would have preferred some pigs in blankets. The vegetables were good and portion sizes were generous. I appreciated the additional courses in between. The service was well-organized and timely. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.
