"We showed up unannounced with a party of 8 including 2 kids. We were seated immediately, on a Thursday night. We ordered some lentil soup, a couple of appetiser plates, two Turkish pizzas, 2 salad plates, and the mixed grill for 4. This was more than enough, with maybe a meal for one left over. The appetizers were yogurt and tomato based pastes that are eaten with delicious Turkish bread. The pizzas are very thin and crunchy. They are served with fresh cilantro, radish and lemon wedges. They are nice and light. The mixed grill was delicious, served on rice and bulgar. I like the rice better. The grilled meats are classic Turkish specialties, little hamburgers, spicy ground kabobs, little lamb chops, chicken and lamb kabobs, garnished with grilled hot peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes. These are eaten with big, thin lavosh (think wheat tortillas). Everything was good. The service was just right. The place was lively, some might say noisy. The fact that the clientele was mostly of Turkish origin speaks to it's authenticity."

Not a very special restaurant, it’s busy with many tables. The staff is good and the food is fine as well. If you’re a fan of the Turkish kitchen you can pay this restaurant a visit.

Absolutely money-related. Service and food extremely deteriorated. It was good, but not recommended. You pay for being ill treated and accusing yourself of his money. All are better than these...

I think many will say how I and the people in my circle that if you want to eat the Turkish pizza in Cologne Lahmacun then you have to eat the Kilim restaurant. The restaurant has a beautiful modern, slightly oriental ambience. The toielets are clean and the staff is well maintained. Voir le carte

In the Kilim with my wife tried the Pide (kusbasi pide) and I can honestly say that were the worst pide we have ever tried. The meat tasted gummy of the dough very dry all too salty and it smelled unpleasant after ranty fat. We have not been able to eat it and will not recommend this place!

We have been here with a group yesterday. The food tasted quite good. However serving was very bad. Everytime there was something forgotten or too many served.Lachmacun or pide should be served including lemon parsely. No professional serving. No wifi. Alltogether the whole group was not satisfied.

Kilim is perfect for those who chase and enjoy the oriental cuisine. All that the heart desires from lahmacun to baklava. The toilets are very clean and everything works well maintained. Nevertheless, I must say that once I have been complaining about my fladenbrot has already come out for the second time undefined plastic additions. The staff was very aggressive and I still had to pay for it.so a nausea Voir le carte

Went to Kilimanjaro with my daughters last night. Stretched my limited German speaking a bit but we had great advice from the team there and ended up with about the right amount of food. Had the six small pastry starters and then the mixed meat plated to two and a sales. That was loads for four of us. Also had the Ayran and the tea. Everything tasted great. Well presented and the service here is absolutely top drawer. Friendly and efficient without being oppressive.

Kilim offers mainly Turkish oriental cuisine. So everything from Döner to Türkisher Pizza etc. I've eaten several times here and I have to say that I've been quite disappointed. The prices are very expensive and the food has not been particularly good. The lens soup tasted mainly for water and the grilled lambs were similar to chewing gum and barely edible. Only the Turkish pizza and the Kunafe were quite good. I will avoid the restaurant in the future. There are also plenty of alternatives in the Kolpstrasse.

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
