Kendell's Bistro - Carte

Our second time here and it was just as good as the first. The food, service and atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend, especially for a romantic meal.

If you google "best restaurants in Leeds" Kendells Bistro is always one of the first to pop up, so obviously I had to try it for myself. The food itself

Both my partner and I were really impressed with Kendall’s Bistro! It was our first time there and were struck by how much much we enjoyed it. It was my partners birthday and the staff really went above and beyond to make as special an occasion as possible. Will definitely be returning! Voir le carte

The chef is a genius, what he does with simple ingredients is amazing. He manages to bring the taste of every ingredient he uses. The staff are always attentive, without being intrusive. They are a credit to the owners and a reason why we return. The only down side is 5NR acidic smell in the men’s toilet.

While I can see why people rate Kendell's so highly, it just missed the mark for us slightly. My better half described it as sitting at a desk at school due to the chair she had. The food was very good, but not amazing (to us). The staff were friendly and attentive, their service was professional and quick. The espresso martini was out of this world. We did have a div sat next to us, so maybe this has clouded the experience, but overall, despite being good, it was not quite what we had hoped it would be.

This was my husband 's choice to celebrate his birthday. Our visit started with 2 glasses of complimentary prosecco which was a nice touch It also finished with 3 complimentary brownies wishing him 'bonne anniversaire '. We loved the French ambiance from the music to the various artefacts. We chose from the tea time set menu and everything was delicious the pate, the beignets, the chicken, the ham hock, the melted chocolate pudding and the cheese board. The service was just as good as the food attentive but friendly. I think this is our new favourite restaurant in Leeds! Voir le carte
