I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant with a good level of light. It was a relatively quiet evening although it was Monday evening so kind of imagined. The server's hospitality was excellent. Friendly and in detail. Very good food with quality and fair amount. Casual dining as well as good evening out I would recommend

It felt like we paid at least double what we should have here, especially since we only ordered a variety of starters and no main dishes. The fish on the sushi platter for two didn’t seem particularly fresh or of the highest quality. However, the green tea was good, and the ice cream balls wrapped in rice dough were a nice dessert.

I'm not sure if it's a good value for money—perhaps it's reasonable by London standards? We ordered two lunch sets and a tempura udon, which came to a total of £78, with a 12.5% discretionary service charge added automatically. The taste was decent, but having experienced Japanese food in many other countries, I wonder if it's fair to compare the food here to international standards.

This place is AMAZING!!! I’ve tried so many Japanese restaurants in London, and Kazu is something else! The food is phenomenal (the sashimi is so fresh, and the black cod melts in your mouth), the service is fantastic (the waiters and chefs were so attentive and friendly), and the ambience is so cozy and inviting. The head chef/owner came to speak to us and treated us with a surprise dish, which was so lovely. I went last week, and will go again this week defo coming here whenever I’m in London!

Upscale sushi restaurant next to Gaucho Grill featuring a simple interior, tasty sushi and slightly awkward service. Most importantly the sushi was tasty and fresh. The Maki Moriawase £40.00) and Charlotte Roll £23.80) dishes where beautifully presented, tangy and slightly sweet. The spicy tuna roll £13.50) was fresh and yummy as well. The sparkling water £5.50 for a litter bottle and saki £50 for 360ml are both on the pricey end. The service was enthusiastic and efficient but the communication was awkward snd error prone.

The value for money is quite poor at this restaurant. The prices are simply not justified given the quality of the food. It feels heavily overpriced. The service was also disappointing. The waitress repeatedly asked if we wanted drinks and even told my child she couldn’t have her own juice because the restaurant sells juice. Thankfully, when I asked if they sold donuts, they said no; otherwise, they might have prohibited my child from having her own snack! It was absurd! I also ordered Japanese dumplings for my child, but they tasted like the ones you can buy at Costco.

Visited for an impromptu dinner for 2 on a weeknight. I work very close by and have been wanting to try. Service is attentive and prompt, and when a dish came out late the main chef himself came to speak to us. The agedashi tofu was tasty but lacked the gooey starchy outer layer. Spicy edamame rocked. The Charlotte roll was good but the yuzu was overpowering. The soba had the right toppings but the broth was bland and overall a bit lacking in flavour. Karaage was absolutely perfect, as was the black miso cod. Not a bad sake selection either. Food was overall a bit on the salty side. Would go back and try more things.

Ordered Mackerel Teriyaki, Tori Kara Age and Ugani roll were good. Udon and Tempura was nothing special. Service was shocking, first we came in as birthday celebration dinner on Monday evening, not busy at all, tell us immediately we only have 1.5 hrs for dining and need to leave after that. There was almost no people in the restaurant when we finished. Second, when we were having the mackerel, once we took the last piece of fish from the plate, still left a plum that I wish to try, the waitress took the plate away immediately without asking whether I still wanted it. If you don’t want to wait outside in the chilling wind with an empty stomach and with no one attend to you, then avoid this restaurant. After dining at this restaurant today, I can say that all the negative reviews are true. The food is average yet extremely overpriced (you can definitely get much better food at this price). Can you imagine a main dish without rice? Well, here they charge a small bowl of rice for 4 pounds! Service is surprisingly horrible.
