"Who knows Timmel? At A... the world you could say. But far missed, is a pretty little resort with lake, well maintained houses and a small supermarket, not far from Aurich. In the middle of it is the hotel mentioned above. a large, visually very attractive house built from red stones. After lunch there was only one bungalow, we decided to eat well maintained here. We came to the right address. Pleasant rustic, a large guest room and many small niches. In such a place we could take place, it was already beautifully covered with colorful napkins, various glasses and cutlery. The menu offers regional and seasonal dishes, currently asparagus. Meat, fish and vegetarians. Prices between 10 and 20 euros. At first there was a greeting from the kitchen, a small piece of cold pork fillet, garnished with tomato puree and grated cheese. We ordered calf carving with pommes and salad, back steak with bacon beans, croquettes and salad. After a reasonable time the salad came first, consisting of leaf salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, paprika and radish. Only after that our food, very appetizing looking and beautifully garnished. It tasted like cooked with love, simply fine, freshly prepared. Two more liqueurs were served for the bill that I was allowed to drink, and somewhat fluctuating, but pleasantly saturated I left the restaurant. My husband was happy too. You can also stay overnight, of course, what I can't judge, but the location is very nice, and if the rooms look just like the place you can feel very comfortable."

I found the service at the Kastanienhof really breathtaking... my grandfather and my nephew also love the burden. My little nephew said it tastes better than the grandmother, but I don't have to tell you. Food was still warm and not salted or something. the meat was fried to the point! I'll come back to you.

Very good delicious food, great service, restaurant with charm and a beautiful beer garden with level! Here you feel welcome, the staff: you are friendly and very careful to pamper the guest. The restaurant is lovingly furnished and top clean! The new beer garden has a level and invites you to stay. The menu is varied and offers everything for small hunger in the rich part! On the occasion of a confirmation we have provided a large table for 15 people in the large tea room. We were all very impressed by this beautiful old farm and how tastefully the house is decorated as a restaurant. The reserved table was very discreet and tastefully decorated.
