"We were hungry and our last visit to the chestnut farm was back for years. Now a visit to Korona is not possible and therefore many shops fight for their survival. So we wanted to support here too and I was looking for the current menu release of the Schildower Kastanienhof for the Schnitzeltag, which is always on Wednesday. The Kastanienhof was a Schildower station until the turn. It is planned to set up a stop for the Heidesteg. This week, the following pork carvings were offered classically, with prince beans, fried eggs and pommes frite type, with a potato pineapple curry, pumpkin type, with potato puree and walnuts and Cologne style, with onion melt, Champions, Souce Hollandaise and roast potatoes. Then there is the Schnitzelburge Reh, with a small shredder, grilled pear, cranberries, gogonzola cream and red herbal salad. Gänsekeulen with red cabbage and potato dumps for 19.80 euros are offered as a real non-scarving dish. I took the turkey and the pumpkin carving. In the packaging the part looked quite small. Unfortunately, everything was packed in a compartment that was not the idea for the carving panel. BUT the Savengers were really good, so right with detaching crusts etc. only slightly softened. Mrs. Falkd S's potato pumpkin curry was a bit too mild for her, I didn't think it was so bad I tasted. The potato pineapple curry of my carving was really good, unusual, just daring, but it was tasteful round. I didn't have to share it, Misses Mrs. FalkdS. After all, we were fed. We're probably going back to the restaurant. Then the 4 stars could sit safely... Of us there are well meant 4 of the possible 5 stars, we cost it."

We were at the Kastanienhof last Friday for a birthday party. We were so pleasantly surprised, we got a super atmosphere and then the buffet! It would be hard to overbid, very good food, a huge offer, very, very diverse, for really all there was something for the eye, tasty, 5 stars

The food was very good. The room was also well equipped for the possibilities. You also get a coffee to drive, go or sit here. Maybe call first to book a table. In summer you can sit well outside. Unfortunately, we found that fat screws were turned into the trees to attach them sunsail.

We are positively surprised and can highly recommend the Kastanienhof. Nice staff is also on extra requests for food. We were here on a Wednesday carving day! Various unusual variations e.g. Gyrosart and forest mushrooms with scup noodles. Very delicious and huge portions XXL for a manageable price of 12.90€. We like to come back. DANKE and Best regards

After a hike we had already visited 2 original inns, where we wanted to take something to us, we were sent away, however, because 4 p.m. the shop was already brummed and everything was booked out and nothing went without reservation.
