"this is a really good restaurant and was close to our hotel. even though they say that you eat comes from singapur, we find it more like East Asia. for example, in the first night we shared a garlic naan (indian) and then had her "singapore laksa" that was excellent. the Laksa base was not creamy, but yellow, possibly with curcuma, spicy with many seafood. I spent years in Southeast Asia and I would say that laksa is Malaysian, but that ignores the fact that singapur and malaysia were connected from 1957 to 1963 as malaya. we were impressed and decided to eat here the next night. we both started with tom yam Gai soup (Thai), then I had lamm vindaloo (Indian) and she had garlic cloves (popular). the food tasted excellent. on the first evening there were two separate gitarren playing street musicians who sang borrower in English, mainly in the leonard Cohen genre. they were both good, but the second stayed longer and my partner gave both drinking money. in the second night only the second, phillip, appeared and the personal knew him, so I think he's a master guest. contributes to the ambiente. the service was good, which is remarkable, as the place was full on both nights. if you are looking for dinner in the southern part of the old town, try this place."
