running away from those who have never been. what a beautiful meal and great staff. so friendly and warm thanks.

beautiful relaxing, clean restaurant, staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. the plates were nice and hot, the eating was nice and tasty and good portions. really good value for money.

My wife and I were in Sat 29th March. Atmosphere was great. Staff extremely friendly. Beer and wine were very good and the food was amazing! If ever we are back in York we will be sure to pop in Voir le carte

Very tasty food, quite a small restaurant, maybe 14 or so tables. A little disappointed as the waiter did not allow me a Cobra glass I collect Offered to pay and not steal, but a flat refusal. As I said though great food which is the priority.

Excellent food and perfectly priced making it good value for money. Really recommended to go here if staying in the nearby hotels. All size groups accepted, including solo diners. Food came out in a good time, and perfectly cooked. If I'm in York again I will be going back!

Four of us dropped in here by accident it was over the road from the hotel and it was raining and no Taxis. So glad we did. The food was absolutely fantastic with some different menu items than the norm. The service was excellent and friendly folks with great prices. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. What a great find!!! Ordered a take out from here as it was just down the road from my hotel, I took a chance on the mutton staff curry and OMG what a flavour sensation! Sadly I live in South Wales so won't be able to get delivery very easily . Sorry I couldn't add photos of the food but I ate it all but I did photo the empty pots and left over bones.

ordered by jorvik spice and they are understanding and helpful in terms of what can be veganized from the menu! my absolute favorit is the vegetable bindiya, would recommend to them this curry- I have never found it anywhere else! They were also great by telling us that they use milk in rice, and gave us pure boiled rice, and that the naan uses herghurt so that they chapatis

no later than a Friday evening. it came minus a court next to me, but when it was late, I didn't call her to ask. had left an interim report on just eat and said that eating was very good, but there were missing items. these young people read this and came back unannounced in the following night, with the missing court and some rice to go with it. in short, they really care about their call and customer service as well as the production of good means of life Voir le carte
