My favorite Burger place in Kiel! All products are local and high quality. The veggy burger is very tasty and the size of the side fries is very generous. The staff is super funny and create a unique and nice atmosphere.

John's Burgers in Kiel is the most authenthic american restaurant that I have seen in Germany. The food is always fresh, the meat is not frozen and very tasty, with lots of variety, like buffalo fried chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken wings, ribs, etc. Even for american standards the food is really great (even superior) and everyone is very friendly.

we ate here on a Sunday afternoon after we were past the bus last night and saw that it was busy. the service was fast that patty rides as it should be (medium). the texture was slightly crumbling and very tasty. my husband...has the new yorker breakfast sandwich, which was also delicious. also the fries and the swarms were excellent. I also recommend the Rhabarb scab. it was a great place to sit outside on the street and see the world over. highly recommended!

Just went in for an Empire Burger takeaway and got a Chewbacca cooking spoon for the waiting time(amazing idea! , after about 6 minutes I got my Burger, got on my bike and drove 20 minutes home. The Burger is not only a regular Burger it’s an experience even after this huge amount of resting it still tastes like your biting in the most fluffy and tasty Bun and then there’s the meat witch just leaves your mouth watering even after your finished. I’ll come around more often, thanks a lot and see you soon!

john’s burger are the best Burger hand-down I ever had in Europe. no sweat. whenever I'm in a kiel, I'll make a beetle for this joint. I actually order them without something on them, as the freshly ground bark is already so well seasoned. I also propose to get john’s burger rare or medium rare so that they can fully appreciate their succulence. his rolls are also amazing. they are neither too hard nor too soft. they are simply perfect for keeping the meat. no toothpicks are necessary. the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. the lively young employees are always in good mood and the music is fantastic. it is also cool that they have an open kitchen and source locally as much as possible. the K...
