"I visited Jenko's just before Christmas. Being a log cabin it looked great both inside and out. It had a good sized carpark too. The bar was the first area I visited, and to be honest it was far too small and felt extremely cramped. Being such a small room it was a bad idea to let people sit around the bar on stalls, this just made a very cramped room even more cramped! There was only about 2-3ft between the wall and the bar stools! Having people sitting around the bar made ordering drinks difficult too. Luckily, the eating area was much better. A small room contained THREE tables, one table had a range of raw meat, fish and vegetable ingredients that you put into a small stainless steel bowl using tongs. The tips of the tongs were quite small like chop-sticks which made it difficult to pick up some foods. Each tub of ingredients had their own set of tongs too, however there was nothing to stop people using tongs from the seafood tub to pick up meat or something else. Cross contamination could be possible, so this method of eating is not advised if you have allergies. On the second table was a range of herbs, spices and sauces. So you could create a range of different flavours. However, most of the foods you could create with the available ingredients would be curry or chilli based. I could not see anything like creams, yogurt, coconut, or meat stocks on the table. You could certainly create nice tasting food though, even without ANY cooking knowledge! On the third table was three large heated tubs of pasta, rice or noodles. Basically, the idea of Jenkos is to allow customers to choose whatever raw ingredients they want, which will then be cooked by the two chefs on a large cast-iron hotplate. You hand the chef your bowl of ingredients which he tips onto the hotplate, as it cooks it is slowly moved clockwise around the table, with the next customers ingredients being added soon after. Each customers meal is divided by two long pieces of wood. Again, as one customers meal is soon cooked on exactly the same area of the hotplate as the previous meal (due to rotation), cross contamination could be possible. Once your meal reaches the end of the hotplate it is fully cooked and handed back to you on a plate. You can then add either pasta, rice or noodles on the third table. As it was all-you-can-eat when I visited, customers can also go through the same process again, creating something different each time. This was more fun than eating the food!!! So Jenko's is certainly different to most restaurants, and I recommend it. But improvements could be made to make it even better, including customer communication via Facebook or email. I NEVER got ANY replies to several messages. Including BACON in the ingredients would be good too"

Not a patch on The Albion Inn at St Georges. Won't be back...most of the veg was cold, meat overcooked. Service poor. Far too expensive.

Great food great service! I requested to bbq the noodles along with the meat items (which is out of norm) and they were good enough to do so. I would highly recommend this place. Voir le carte

The restaurant is too expensive for what it offers. The novelty of cooking on the hot plate in front of you is nice. We have visited twice now, but the prices need to be lower for us to consider going back again.

Went for the bottomless brunch today and was blown away! The food was incredible and about the only place where it is all you can eat food. The moment we poured out the last of the cocktail from the jug they were straight there asking what we wanted next and the staff were genuinely some of the best staff I’ve had in any restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!

I recently visited a Mongolian BBQ restaurant that had a wide variety of choices including meat, vegetables, herbs, spices, and sauces. You can customize your dish to your own preferences. It is all-you-can-eat, and my companion even had three helpings! The service was fantastic, with the chef and staff providing great explanations. It would be a perfect spot for a group night out. We went to the restaurant at 7pm on a Friday night. It was a warm evening and the restaurant was quite crowded. The variety of food options to choose from for our dish was impressive. What impressed me the most was that there weren't large amounts of food sitting out getting stale all evening. Instead, there were small containers that were consistently replenished. The meal I selected was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy. The total cost of the meal, including drinks, was £23, which I believe is a fair price for the quality of food and service we received.

What an amazing experience The most delicious food we've eaten in years Service was way beyond anything I've experienced in my 60 plus years on this planet Our waitress is breathtakingly beautiful on the outside and that same level of beauty exudes from her I wish I'd asked for her name We arrived and I was on the verge of a massive anxiety attack I was in a lot of pain, boiling hot and really couldn't wait to get out of there Our waitress was very empathetic and couldn't do enough to try to make me comfortable Physically and emotionally, she opened a window and got us both drinks She offered to do a take away for us and she literally went through all the options available to us, which was p...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
