the food was cooked and kept warm. nice that we didn't eat 2 because we would have booked, we would have eaten that would have been kept warm for an hour.

The food was minimal but very poor compared to the price. I ordered tomato soup and was given a very small piece of bread. The chicken on the other hand was terrible. The prices are way too high for the poor quality

The menu was uninspiring with little choice. The wine list was a waste of time as there was only a small number of wines available. When asked what was available, the waiter replied, red, white or rose. The starters were okay but the mains were only average at best. Voir le carte

Had lunch outside due to covid restrictions. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was only of average quality with my partner’s chicken being watery and my own scampi slightly overdone. Not enough to complain about though. Quantity was huge, with neither of us able to finish either starter or main course.

Two waitresses who appeared to be clueless in customer service. They served you bread midway through the meal! Carvery food was greasy and over salty not much fun if you’re a diabetic. The word ‘sorry’ did not exist in the restaurant manager’s vocabulary as she made poor excuses. Will not set foot in that place ever again.

very pleasant stay. I've read some of the cripples I had worried. yes, the hotel decoration looks a little tired, but not enough to spoil our joy. staff very friendly and helpful. a light problem was immediately treated. eat very acceptable, apart from the chips that were bright and undercooked and we had a very pleasant stay.

We chose the Pork and Beef from the Sunday Roast Carvery both meats were satisfactory , though my rare beef could have been more tender needing a steak knife to cut it . A good selection of vegetables though regrettably not piping hot . A rather limited choice of deserts The waiting Staff were very friendly and helpful , but they seemed lack professionalism and self confidence On arrival , we were concerned that our reservation was not on the list ; after showing the Head ? Waiter a copy of the OpenTable confirmation my wife and I were seated at a table set for five . the original reservation for persons was reduced to due to last minute illness
