Insel Bastei - Carte

the food was just delicious....unfortunate were the service not so satisfying (you waited for a very long time) I would nevertheless go again but would plan more time in definitiw;)

that is located on the rheinallee and has a beautiful terrace. it is offered daily a lunch table for 6,90 and you can choose between 2 dresses, one of which is a suppe as an appetizer.

I went to the Inselbastei 3 times in the last year. Twice we could sit on the terrace with the nice view of the river, once we had to be inside (it was winter). The service was always good. The food nice, but nothing special....My Japanese guest was happy with the German food and especially with the choice of good local wines (and the low prices). despite the illness-related failure of a service lady, the male service duo has got everything top in the handle. (the terasse was also up to the last place full!)Everything was welcomed and served quickly! eating was as always very tasty - everything was served almost at the same time. a large lob also to the kitchen that as often as delivered the best! we are very happy to come again and again, the location and eating is simply good and the price adjusted.

I do not recommend this place, they do not care about costumers. once I was there and in the smoker area smoke the owners or friends of them. I asked the personal that it bothers me and please close the door of the storkroom... instead of closing the door, they suggested me to change my place. that's so rude. they don't care if the costumer is happy. no motivation to feel and relax. it is a dug that this restaurant is located in such a beautiful park. I would never go back to this restaurant.

we were there, with two children, (my man and I were in the last month without children was not good, but this time my parents want to try in law) and we have to wait and wait for eating about two hours. What...it should be, they have two waiters, but one was really not friendly (since last time she was incredible) and this time was equal (she looks like as Asian) another dame was nicer and we were appreciated that she tried to eat as quickly as possible. eating were delicious, was great, but service should be improved immediately Voir le carte

I was there with my friends, beautiful place with magnificent views of the Rhine. the host was friendly, I was so glad that my friends were local, otherwise I would have starved because there was no menu in English! on recommendation. I had. the maisel’s white from the barrel bananenweizen with maiden’s white from the barrel followed by rumpsteak with two legs or herb butter, bratkartoffel and salat and for dessert we had waffel with kirschen vanilleeis and saw waffel with eierlikör vanilleeis and saw. can not be over eating rave, nothing spectacular! a visit for the beautiful outsight worth.

Insel Bastei is located on an island in the Rhine in Ludwigshafen. They have a lot of outdoor seating and it is nice in the summer to sit by the river. The cuisine is the traditional German/Pfalzish style with saumagen and leber knodel and all...the other German favourites. They have a seasonal menu as well in the autumn it was pfefferlinge based meals and venison. I had schnitzel here one time and pork with pfefferlinge and pasta another time both were good. The service can be slow if it is busy or you are behind a large party. The décor is a bit old fashioned and I think its nicer to sit outside in the summer. Dinner for two 54 euros.

we were there and from the atmosphere is very nice, it was really nice restaurant with beautiful view near the Rhine. if you want to see a good look, you should visit here, but only if there is no bad service and unfriendly staff. there were two women and a guy who was kind. only one, two ladies were unprofessional, not friendly . I am somewhat disappointed. Eat were delicious and from this price, it was okay. but for the service. I don't just want to give them the guy who's not for two, I'm sorry to tell you about it, but it was true. if someone from this restaurant would read our comments, I would like to tell them that they are beautiful location, delicious food, beautiful view. why do no...
