"We found the guy who served us very unhelpful. I asked to switch the bread on the sandwich to a brioche bun that the burgers were served on and the answer was a straight no. When asked again he said he would have to charge my the full price of a burger £13 more! . He suggested I was better off with a burger as I would get the full works . When the burger arrived it was very disappointing, a few fries in a tiny bucket, no salad or coleslaw accompaniment, the red onion marmalade I paid extra for was tasteless and the whole thing just tasted burnt. We are regulars at their sister pub, The White Hart, the food there is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the staff."

Visited sunday afternoon for a meal. I had noodles with chicken which was OK but my wife had Chicken Caesar salad. The presentation was poor as were the ingredients except for the chicken. The croutons were just toast.Sorry but will not return.

Very disappointed with the jacket potatoes meals, the fillings were good but the potatoes were like plastic, not fresh fluffy potato. It would be my guess they are frozen ones heated up, all 4 of us had to leave them.To be fair the other meals being served look excellent so my advice is stay clear of the jacket potato meals.

Went for an office Christmas lunch here and had a good time. Liked the food : well prepared and presented (had the veggie options of goats cheese salad and tagliatelle), and the service was good too. The portions weren't too large but that's good thing at this time of year with so much eating going on; quality not quantity seems to be the watchword. Pleasant atmosphere, newly refurbished.

Visited with family. Lovely bar/restaurant. Friendly staff. Good selection of beers and spirits. There is rooms available to stop over but can't comment as not seen them. Plenty of seating available for dinning, we didn't eat but the food that was being served looked delicious. Was very busy as it is the pub as you get off the train so advisable to book a table if you are eating. Will definitely go again and maybe eat next time.

Visited with friends. Facing the Train Station is ideal for visiting when you get off or awaiting the train, right in the heart of Clitheroe with everything on its door step. You can stay over rooms are available. Very busy when we called which is a good sign. Plenty of seating available for dinning and if you just want a drink. We didn't eat but the food that was being served looked very tasty. Good choice of drinks and food available.

Well visiter here again tonight, was looking forward to a nice stake, however after being stood at the bat for over 4 mins, and being ignored by the staff behind the bar and manager clearing tables, one member of staff on her mobile the other emptying the dish washer, no communication what's so ever to say they would be woth us inappropriate minute, the put and restaurant was quite. We decided that enough was enough and walked out, of to get a meal somewhere more welcoming. This was our last chance as we came in July 2018 which was poor service, shame to see it's not change. Will not be visiting again

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
