Indigo Indian Restaurant

Authentische Zubereitung von Lamm- und Chicken-Curry mit Basmatireis. Abzug beim (kaum gewürzten) Dhal. Service freundlich, Chapati und Raiti frisch und gut schmeckend.

The food was not authentic at all and also the service was terrible..The waiter didn't know what he was serving and the staff made fun of us when we complained about the food. They don't know the meaning of hospitality.. won't visit again and also won't recommend.

In a slightly seedy area near the station, this restaurant was simply superb! From the decor to the service there was little I could fault; and the food was amongst the best indian I have ever eaten. Including drinks, the bill was about €40/head including drinks. I will definitely go back there when in Frankfurt again

En mysig indier i ruffiga kvarter men väldigt central. Jättegod mat , en stor meny och låga priser. Servicen är bra och lagom avspänd. Mycket folk så under mässperioder beställer jag bord. Alltid fräsch mat och hyfsat dryckesutbud. Vindaloo rätterna håller en hög kryddstark nivå och är inte anpassade för mesar. Rekommenderas varmt.

I visited here twice with my wife. The first time we really liked the taste and quality of food. That's the reason we visited again after a couple of months. But the second time the food taste was really disappointing. The restaurant has a good ambience and located near to Central railway station. The staff is friendly and professional.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen an einem Dienstag im Indigo. Das Restaurant liegt im Frankfurter Bahnhofsviertel und war beim Eintreffen mäßig besetzt. Im Laufe des Abends füllte es sich aber. Da Restaurant ist nicht groß, aber gemütlich und nett eingerichtet. Auf der Speisekarte findet man die beliebtesten indischen Gerichte. Wir hatten Daal Makani, Chicken Tikka Masala und Lamm Curry. Alle 3 Gerichte waren gut gewürzt und sehr schmackhaft. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Für uns ist das Restaurant eine klare Empfehlung und wir werden bestimmt wieder hingehen.

Wir waren zu zweit bei 'Indigo' am Samstag Abend. Es war ziemlich leer, wahrscheinlich wegen des Wetter, das für Grillen perfekt war Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, das Fleisch war sehr zart und gut gewürzt. Die Bedienung war freundlich und hat uns ein paar Worte zum Essen gesagt. Das Ambiente ist denken wir typisch indisch, aber für unseren Geschmack hing zu viel an den Wänden und stand zu viel herum. Passte auch alles nicht so wirklich zusammen, indische Götzenfigur an der eine Weihnachtskugel hing daher nur 4 punkte. Das Wichtigste, das Essen, wie erwähnt empfehlenswert.

Its been just 8 days in Germany and I could feel the cravings for Indian food. Located in the heart of Frankfurt city, its a must visit restaurant for every Indian and non Indians too as they are very particular while preparing the food for both the categories. I and my friends started with Mango lassi followed my assorted pakoras and Samosas. In the main course, we had Dal Makhani and Kadhai Paneer with butter roti and Lachcha Parantha. All food was fingerlicious but to be very specific, Dal Makhani was the best. We were fully stuffed but still we did not even leave the last traces.. :P If you are in Frankfurt, its a highly recommended restaurant... :)

Das Restaurant liegt 5 Minuten zu Fuß von Hauptbahnhof entfernt weit weg, diese Lage spricht normalerweise für ein Restaurant, leider prägen Junkies das Umfeld weshalb ich nicht ansässigen oder einer zweier Frauengruppe dieses Restaurant bei Dunkelheit nicht ans Herz lege.Abseits von der misslichen Lage hat man für die indische Küche moderate Preise, wir wurden ausgezeichnet bedient, die Karte ist relativ groß obwohl man ausschließlich indische Küche findet, wenn man Hunger hat brauch man nicht unbedingt eine Vorspeise da die Portionen groß sind. Alles in allem war es sehr lecker, die Preise in Ordnung und wer indisch probieren möchte beziehungsweise Lust drauf hat kann ich es nur empfehlen.
