Forgot one of our starters and gave us the wrong rice! Very Cold, small portions. Poor value for money!

Opening hours listed 1200 Sat . We asrrived 4 adults with a 3 and a 4 year old at 1215 but rejected as the staff were cleaning. Not allowed in to sit and wait , so left . 4 year old peered through window and we were retrieved from 20 yards away. Then had a 40 minute wait until food arrived . No other customers by the time we left . Having said all that , the food was good .

Food was ok, very average but couldn’t believe the prices compared to the portion sizes. We ordered enough onion bhajis for for 5 of us and got charged £20.85 for 6 onion bhajis! I spoke with the member of staff about this and he said he’d “sort us out” next time but we won’t be returning. Curries were average and around £15 each for half the portion you’d get from a takeaway. The only redeeming factor is you can bring your own drinks but they do charge corkage.

Really good food, however in strong contrast to shockingly rude staff. Reservation made well in advance. Confirmed again 24hrs beforehand via website, EXACTLY as per booking request instructions. Upon first of our party arriving (5 mins early), staff angrily scolded them like a child, that other person making reservation had not telephoned to confirm. When person who made reservation arrived a minute later and politely advised they had reconfirmed exactly as requested via email, response was a snappy and dismissive “we don’t check emails”. Then angrily moved tables together accompanied by “well you’ll have to sit there” with a dismissive brush off gesture. Restaurant virtually empty all even... Voir le carte
