"This clean, friendly little place serves the best vegetable pakoras I've ever had. Also a wonderful mixed vegetable curry, which comes with plenty of freshly prepared rice. They also serve a side order of daal, which is most welcome and very rare in my experience with Indian restaurants. Their naan with lamb is wonderful and their paratha is quite good, too. Everything seems cooked to order, so it may take a few minutes longer, but it's totally worth it. The chicken pakoras are as interesting as the vegetable ones, but were OK, too. All in all, this place is a real homerun!"

This was our first place to eat during our visit to Cologne. The food was made to order and it was amazing! The restaurant appears to be family owned and everyone was friendly. I highly recommend this place for Indian food!!!

In einer Seitenstraße der Deutzer Freiheit kann man in indischem Ambiente gut und günstig indisch essen.Alles nett hier. Mir fiel nix negatives auf.Und bedingt zu empfehlen.Die Karte ist umfangreich. Der Service ziemlich und meistens flott.

Super leckeres, authentisches indisches Essen zu kleinen Preisen. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Es gibt eine Vielzahl von indischen Gerichten für jeden Geschmack. Der Service ist unheimlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

OK if this Indian restaurant was in the UK I wouldn't have given it 5 stars - BUT having lived in Germany for 4 years I had almost given up finding a decent curry. It is a classic take away style curry house with tables and chairs in the front (for about 24 people. The food was freshly cooked and although for some might be a little sweet we enjoy the sweetness of some curries and so fitted for us. Best Indian restaurant in Germany We will be back!

Having South Indian Roots, I am constantly disappointed by the Indian Food in Germany. This changed by eating in the cozy and small restaurant in Deutz, Cologne. The ingredients were fresh and the staff friendly and charming. The lamb khorma was succulent and the meat melted in our mouths, the sauce delicately spiced. The Khulfi was also the best I've ever had in Germany. I'll definitely be going back. Thanks Indian Masala from the bringing the flavours from Mother India to Cologne.

I love this place and have already been back and am planning to go again today. They make the best pakoras I've ever had fresh, and not dry or overcooked. They also do something that I absolutely love: they serve a side order of daal, something which for some reason Indian restaurants almost never do. It's a small, clean, simple looking place, but the food is just plain wonderful. Their naan bread with lamb is sensational. Everything seems cooked to order, so some food takes a little longer than usual, but it's completely worth it.
