We've been there just for appetizer. Informal place. Local food. Good selection of beers. Service was quick. I may try for a full meal.

When you are searching for something special and romantic and noble then this is the place to be. The food and the service is just amazing and how he showed us the different kind of wines was very inspiring. Guys join in and make just a great experience like us

nice local, adequate prices, good beers but very disappointing the sandwiches: poorly studied combinations, low-quality ingredients (predominantly commercial sausages). the one with raw ham, heated, was so salty to be almost unmangiable. a little extra care does not spoil.

Had a bit of trouble finding this on TA, I think it should be spelled il Merlo Parlante, and it said it was reported as closed but is definitely still in business. Great ale selection, cosy and interesting and just a teeny bit off the beaten path so we walked right past it at first. The menu is a bit confusing but just let the bar staff know what you’re after and they’ll sort it out. A 33cl la chouffe is €4, we’re going to pop in again for a cheeky chocolate stout tomorrow.
