"the cilentana is a small restaurant in lustra cilento. at this moment is probably the best trattoria in the area ranging from agropolis to a casalvelino. This is a family-run place, so you can't expect anything particularly sought after from a stylistic point of view. However, the cilentana has a very remarkable strength: The kitchen. Let's see a little more in detail: local service the local is small but well-kept, although a little bit tasted. the decor shows good goto, although it is not for sure that the place is noticed. the service, as said, is familiar and a little slow. However, the two owners are friendly and can make you feel at ease. kitchen price the kitchen is the strong piece of the restaurant. the peculiarity is the alternation between dishes of the Cilentana tradition and bell (parmigiana, fusilli, cavatielli, potato range, aubergines stuffed, fried soup) and creations of the cook (ceci with mushrooms and sausage, parmigiana of anchovies, parmigiana of onions, ravioli with buffalo, pumpkin, beans). if traditional dishes are always masterfully interpreted, it is in the autonomous creations that resides the greatest interest of the gourmet. the parmigiana of onions, in particular, is an authentic delicacy. a mention also for pizzas, always excellent. at a kitchen already of excellent level (probably the best in the area) combine really competitive prices.
