"We went for an early dinner with friends before heading to the theatre. The restaurant opened at 5pm and we had made a reservation for that time. Our arrival seemed to catch the staff off guard, but they were still friendly and accommodating. Our drinks were served promptly. The starters of whitebait and asparagus were a bit heavy, with the whitebait being breaded instead of battered, which was a letdown. However, the main course of seafood linguine with white wine sauce, recommended by our waitress, was fantastic. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the seafood, a mix of mussels, squid, clams and prawns, was cooked just right and lightly seasoned. The steamed spinach on the side was also cooked to perfection and not overdone."

We had the lunchtime special, which at 3 courses for £10.00 was a bargain. The food was basic, wholesome and very tasty. Great for lunch.

Very pleasant evening. I had steak which was cooked perfectly. Lobster risotto was excellent as was the calves liver. Desserts were ok not amazing. Food presentation is very good. House wine absolutely fine. Had pizza on last visit which was excellent.

We boned there on a Halloween night and it was lovely decorated. The service was very good they made us feel special. The food was good but no particular excitement. The kids didn't particularly like their spaghetti bolognese and pizza Bianca though. But we must admit they made the pizza Bianca special for us which we appreciate a lot!

Place was small but had charm. We had an early dinner, 6:00 p.m., and were surprised to see one of the kitchen staff and serving staff eating their meal too in the dining area a few tables away from us. Food was OK, nothing special. Found the price a bit expensive for what it was. Also one of those places where they add the 10% Optional Service Charge to your bill.
