"There are no words.... Actually there are plenty, but I do not have enough time to write them. On Ischia there is a mountain, at the base of that mountain you start your 40 minute climb to try to reach the top of that mountain. It is very difficult to get there. I was traveling with a Russian, German, Spanish, and Italian friends. We all decided to climb this mountain. At one point we were out of breath, I look up to the very top, and see umbrellas. I said to myself Who the hell would live up here!!!! Little did I know, it was not a residence, but a restaurant that was at the tip of the mountain top! I urged everyone to keep climbing (I mean, we came this far! and we hiked up to the restaurant. I then said to myself, Who would put a restaurant up here!!! Who does your plumbing! I never got the answers to my questions. I did however hiked up to the very top of the mountain (so scary then sat at the restaurant with an espresso, applauding myself for making it to the top in one piece. A funny note... There were three tables near the edge of the cliff to sit at that had reserved signs on them. There was nobody there but us. I said to myself Who the hell makes reservations here!!!!"

"Regarding the restaurant, we were expecting something truly exceptional given the comments... a little disappointed For a month we wandered around the region and quite honestly we found much better, especially on the island. Attention is not bad But I thought I would be surprised by the cuisine, it 's good but simple. Not extraordinary. The rabbit is not a bad stew, 18 euros. With a sea salad with octopus and cockles for 16 euros. The service is like the cuisine: basic and simple. Sometimes I had the impression that we were being bullied slightly because we didn 't understand the waiter 's French , which is why we preferred to stick to English, which didn 't work. obviously been appreciated. There is a nice view from the terrace but too bad the waiter closed the tarpaulin too bad. As for the location, it 's quite out of the way all the same. For hiking, it 's not bad, but it 's best to have transportation. That said there is a good bus service. The hotel offers scooter rental, inquire at reception. Arm yourself with your most beautiful smile Rooms: The person who gave us the keys to the apartment was more friendly and explained everything to us upon arrival. The apartment is like the rest, simple, basic, clean, nothing crazy. It is spacious but quite basic in terms of kitchen equipment. There is air conditioning throughout the apartment and we had a beautiful view of the bay. Rooms: 3 Service: 2 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great view"

"In my opinion, it is the best restaurant of barn (I don't know of all ischia). me and my girlfriend stayed 4 days at hole, trying various recommended places by tripadvisor. in conclusion however, 'at the old hut ' has won the top of the ranking of the best tried dishes. the first experience was incredibly positive: 'bucatino coniglio ' and 'paccheri alla panciovilla ', of the first superb dishes. they are respectively 12 euros and 10 euros; prices really contained compared to the quality of the dishes. as second we tried the 'Ischitana rabbit'; also excellent at a price of 20 euros. the experience was so positive that the next day we decided to come back but savoring the dishes based on fish: had, 'at the old hut ' does not forget. the dishes were really excellent. 'baccalà in fillo pasta with mayonnaise to citrus ' as appetizer; 'packers of the deck ' and 'linguine to the rock ' as first dishes; 'tiramisù al pistachio ' and *I don't remember the second dessert*. In conclusion, I could describe the flavors of the dishes proposed by the kitchen highlighting our delights, but I would rather leave you the photos of the dishes, so that you already imagine what we are talking about. 10 out of 10!"

"Today at lunch, me and my partner took a risotto and a mixed fish fry. the fish was fresh and abundant portions. What do you mean? There is worse but also better. I also refer to the service. After 40 minutes of waiting under the sun, I ask how much I have to wait again, and tells me that I have to wait another hour to have lunch. to point out that for 40 minutes there was a table free of 6. in dry tone answers that it is booked. so I answer accordingly and I point out that even if it is booked, there are customers who have been waiting for so long, and that perhaps it is the case after 40 minutes, to give the table to those on the list and is punctual. the answer of the fireman was: we have to do. I can understand that the place was very crowded, but I don't justify tones at all. we will not return"
