"I just love love love this place. It does not look much but the food is really good. I can’t understand why this place does not show up on my tripadvisor app. Had to use google maps to look for a place to eat. l’Birichicchero is one of the few places in Colle di Val d’Elsa where I could find lighter food on the menu. I had a really great salad here and nice bruschettas that saved me from the heavy feeling I had in my stomach from all the pastas and pizzas. My husband had the meat with wild mushrooms and that was to die for. Kids had steaks which were also well prepeared. The food was cheaper but much better than in other local restaurants. We were visiting this place on sunday and it was packed with locals which is always a good sign. Waitresses were nice and spoke good english."

Gnocchi noci e gorgonzola were made from scratch- simply delicious! Pizza was moist,crisp an super tasty. The hosts (a family business)were super friendly. They even bake their own bread on a daily basis. We're looking forward to returning any time soon.

Found this place on our last evening in Colle di Val, nothing special, everything was well prepared and the waiters are very polite and give you a welcome feeling so if you just want to have a nice burger or pizza in city center without any specials or high expectartions just go there and relax
