Hungarium International

I was a bit surprised to find a Hungarian restaurant in the middle to Germany, moreover off the big cities. I dined there only once, but I can recommend it.

Small restaurant in the cellar of a hotel with terrace outside. Very nice food. We had a small goulash soup which was nice and some pork chops garlic style. Amazing... these chops where soft, don't know how they do it. Loved it

Excellent food and very friendly staff here. Even not very large restaurant, you can find always place to have very tasty food. Usually full of guests due to very close position of DFS Campus. It is better to make reservation if you expect bigger group. Voir le carte

Well, I certainly was pleasantly surprised about this place, didn't look up to much. But I liked it, the beer, the food and the waitress. Not busy on the weekends, caters to the work day business folks. If ever I find myself near here I...will come back.

We passed through Langen twice in week. We stayed at the Achat hotel. Both the pork schnitzel smothered in carmelized onions) and the chicken schnitzel in a mushroom and paprika cream) was EXCELLENT. Langen has few restaurants, but luckily it has a great...one.

Small restaurant in the basement of Achat hotel if you want amazing duck, you have to order Hungarian duck (it must be done one day in advance with red cabbage and you have to take Hungarian wine matching this food almost perfect (Janosh will...helps you with this Goulash sup it's also great. The restaurant is at the base of Achat Hotel in Langen (flughaven) and is one of the two restaurants in the area. Knowing the Hungarian cuisine one might have bigger expectations from this restaurant. But...variety not so large for meals but drinks... a lot! Hungarian...palinka available with different fruit flavors at the bar in the middle of the restaurant. Unfortunately, space is rather small and in the evening it becomes really crowded! Food very tasty, in Hungarian style, and you can find also international cuisine. Unfortunately prices are rather high.

The restaurant appears to be in a bomb-proof basement of the Achat Hotel. The name and appearance didn't suggest much, but the food was very good and tasty. I ate here as I had been put in the hotel by Lufthansa as a result of...a cancelled flight. It is of a Hungarian style and flavour and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. There is a decent selection of draught and bottled beers. The staff are very friendly and good at their jobs making you feel very welcomed. I wouldn't have any qualms about eating here again if my flight was cancelled again, but probably wouldn't be passing ordinarily.

I was stuck here overnight due to a cancelled plane, and I was very happy with our restaurant choice. Hungarium is the basement of the hotel and can seat tables. It has a cute bar in the middle, with a friendly bartender who greets...you upon arrival. We ordered the appetizer of the cheese and meat plate, as well as a bowl of hungarian goulash soup. The meat and cheese was very nice with several meats and gouda or edam cheese. The goulash was a bit weak, but still tasty. For dinner, I ordered the turkey with sauce and cheese. It was an interesting choice that I had never seen on a menu before. The meal is accompanied with fried potato croquettes. I found the dish tasty, but a bit overwhelmin... Voir le carte
