"Came here for lunch on a wet Monday in January, the place was empty although one other table did come half way through us eating our meal. Service was great and very friendly by a lady who has worked there for a long time (I remember her from years ago) she’s very attentive. Starter of garlic Mushrooms and a soup were nice but sadly the mains of chicken and one pork were a real let down, new potatoes rock hard and not hot, chicken chewy, vegetables looked and tasted old. Sadly wouldn’t be in a rush to return."

Very family friendly ..... Good for social distancing as tables well spread out. Lovely food... great staff ???? Steaks and peppercorn sauce !!!!! Staff very professional with procedures in place.

Lovely meal tonight, all 6 of us enjoyed it and couldn’t fault anything. Steaks and peppercorn sauce were amazing. Handled the covid situation perfectly too, very clean, organised and professional. Will be back

we only stayed 1 night, however was made to feel at home and welcome. Food was amazing, we had dinner and breakfast, both on point, best black pudding I've ever had. We will be back for a longer stay. Beautiful location. 10/10 Voir le carte

Stayed here for one night in the deluxe double room with balcony and had an evening meal and breakfast next morning and the food was lovely and the hotel is spot on. The scenery was beautiful and the room spotless would definitely recommend this hotel

Had a birthday celebration and afternoon tea on Feb 4th. Beautiful presentation of very generous portions of savoury starters, variety of sandwiches, cakes scones and desserts. We were looked after very well , and had many refills of teas/ coffees of choice.
