"Lovely cavernous space with light greyish woods. We attended the discounted soft launch where the menu was still limited to sharing platters. The two of us shared the meat platter of charcuterie and the vegetable platter. Both came with lovely focaccio studded with rosemary and garlic. The meat platter was pleasant with braesola, prosciutto, salami as well as a spicy chorizo-like salami whose name I can't remember. The vegetable platter was quite stunning. Roast butternut squash marinated in garlic was the standout on the plate. There was also a whole roast aubergine, roast baby carrots with cumin and beetroot with morcocan spices as well as stuffed courgette. I would only fault this dish in that it needed a sharp note such as salsa verde or tapenade especially on the slightly bland courgette. We finished with the only dessert on the menu, which was a trio of ice creams. The elderflower sorbet was really memorable."

Incredibly slow and small rations, the wine was warm, the service really bad. Food ok, but not worth the long wait

A nice place with a good wine selection tucked away in a Lane off Fleet Street. Slightly overpriced but the food was good. They were slightly short staffed as there were only 2 people around.

If you like good wine but hate the pretence that often comes with it, I've got just the wine bar for you: Humble Grape. You might have heard it before there's already one in Battersea but they've just opened a new branch off Fleet Street and I headed there recently to find out a little more. You can find Humble Grape tucked away beneath the vaults of St Bride's Church, in the infamous journalist district of Fleet Street.

What better way to start the evening that with a glass of something fizzy. I’d gone along to the Humble Grape for a little wine tasting, what they call vinotyping and some food. The evening started with a delicious pink sparkling wine, made prosecco style. Ghisolana La Divina Rosato Spumante extra Dry – which apparently can’t be called a prosecco because it comes from the Veneto. Well, in this case, a rose by any other name tastes just as ‘sweet’.

Fleet Street. Wine bar. A couple of decades ago, the words would have conjured up images of navy-blue-suited, signet-ring-wearing, beaujolais-nouveau-quaffing, shouting-into-oversize-Motorola-mobile-phones-housed-in-briefcases, one-failed-trade-away-from-an-aneurism city boys. And sure, today the late 80s/early 90s yuppie has arguably been replaced by a far more sinister breed – the corporate hipster – but at least we can now all enjoy a decent drop before rushing to catch trains bound for our £400,000 studio flats in an up-and-coming (ignore the queues waiting for their methadone fix each morning) pocket of zone 3.

the best part of this place is the personal, very helpful, nice, funny and honest. when we ordered coffee, they were very clear that they were not a coffee shop, so that the coffee cannot be amazing, after all the warning anyway we ordered coffee and was good. the wine selection was great, the divided plates were beautiful in taste. the only disadvantage was that the Argentinean weeps had not (we were after a good Argentine Malbec); but we got a Chilean who was good. great place to sit and chat, music was there, but not really loud and beautiful environment. we were a group of five and had a great time, because couples are also an ideal place. Go, you won't regret it. make sure it is not che...
