"Well let me start by saying that I love Greek food. I take my wife to so many Greek restaurants that she now thinks that is all I eat. The first time we arrived at this restaurant we were amazed at the amount of choices...on the menu. The staff gave us time but we eventually managed to decide what we wanted to eat. Of course we were given a free ouzo as an appetiser. The meal didn’t take long to arrive and it was simply superb. Along with the main course came a salad which was tasty and quite filling, but the main course itself was mostly meat. I went for the Afroditi Teller, which consisted of Bifteki, pork on a Spiess a pork steak and Gyros. This can be accompanied by either rice or chips. It was cooked to perfection. My wife had a large Greek salad with huge shrimps. It not only looked good she said it was fantastic. After this we were served with a small piece of cake (like Maderia) but drizzled with lemon juice. This incidentally is free. Then another ouzo or metaxa when we paid the bill. Also free. Cutting a long review short… we have now been at the Poseidon nearly every week for the last years. We have obviously been at every other Greek restaurant in the area too, and they are all very good, but we keep coming back to this one as it is by far our favourite. The restaurant may be a bit too much over the top in the Greek style but the staff are so friendly and helpful. We have never had a bad meal or bad service there. Not a place for nouveau cuisine, but if you want good wholesome cooking and a reasonable portion, then it is perfect."

"We discovered the restaurant last week. Since then we have been there 2x as it is on the way home from work. The restaurant is inconspicuous from the outside but it is worth going in. Here there are mixed dining directions with good portions and very good price/performance ratio. The food tastes great and the service is good. So for ground food, just the right thing. We'll be more common."

"A wonderful beer garden, how to dream it in white blue. Fast operation, great food also vegetarian. Mondays rest day Wednesdays always live music in summer with bayr. Groups. Thursday is Schnitzel day reservation absolutely recommended! Unfortunately I miss the celery Schnitzel : Oddly is the Kaiserschmarrn!! Although not very cheap small portion 5,90, large portion 7,90€, but the best I have ever eaten!! The rooms in the opposite hotel are also great. Modern, but cozy 90€ DZ incl. rich breakfast and sausage from your own butcher."

"Absolute recommendation! The food (salat, soup, pasta as well as pizza) were just super delicious! Very short waiting time, although we were there at 6. The pizza of our two-year-old daughter came with our appetizers, which was really great. Generally absolutely ingenious service and extremely child-friendly. Price- performance just top. If we didn't live 400km away, this would be our new favorite restaurant!"

"Stopping over on the way to Austria, Brannenburg is a little limited for places to eat and the hotel didn't have a restaurant so we ventured out into the cold to find some food. Barolo was marked as the best restaurant in the town, so we went straight to it. We had to wait a few minutes for a table since the place was very busy, but it was worth the wait. The pizza was very nice indeed."
