Hotel Kendler Restaurant

Our overnight stay at Hotel Kendler was excellent. The food was also amazing. I would recommend this restaurant 100%.

Exceptional local cuisine. We rarely visit the same restaurant twice, but that was really a positive exception. Disorders are difficult, therefore recommended after heavy mountain hikes.

We had been sightseeing nearby and had stopped for a quick bite and as it was cool out wanted something to warm us up so chose some nice homemade soup which was delicious. My husband had some of the local beer which was good also.

Family-run hotel and restaurant in the centre of St.Gilgen. Been here often and today was better than ever recommend the Cordon Bleu and Schnitzel! In summer full, so expect to wait for a table, but worth it. We're back with the family.

We had lunch in the resturant ,every one of us like his dishes ,i choose a trout for lunch and it was really good,my husband and one of my girls tried the shnitzel and they really liked it.my other girl choose a hamburger which she really like. It was my first time to eat the kaiserschmarrn and it was really good..we had a great time in the resturant.. Voir le carte

We walked around and stumble this restaurant which seems the only one open for lunch. We see what other reviewers mean about the waitress. She does seem un welcoming but I think this the German way stern and serious. The food was good and tasty. We ordered a couple of things and one was pork schnitzel which was well made light and crispy on the outside and just done on the inside.

This is quite a large restaurant in one of the St Gilgen hotels. It's a large nice, rustic and unpretentious dining room, visited by mostly, visitors in St Gilgen. They had a large selection food, of different style and price range. So that one could have a sandwich, a burger or snack for lunch, or a nice meat and fish dish in the evening. Traditional austrian and mainstream dishes, or just a drink. The visitors where all kinds of people, families with children, groups of young people, groups of german or american middle age tourists, etc. And the staff were very nice and friendly. All I ate there was good. And it appears a nice place to just spend an evening while staying in St Gilgen.

The Hotel Kendler has a nice seating area to the side of the hotel. We stopped here for lunch and a drink. We waited and waited but nobody came to take our order. In the end we had to go inside and ask were they open, then help ourselves to the menus when none were offered. We asked for a similar meal to that of the people who were sitting beside us but were told that we could not have this as the kitchens close at 2 o'clock. It was 2 o'clock when we asked. In the end we had to choose from their standard snack type menu. The food was not great to be honest. I didn't think the staff were in the slightest bit interested in their customers and we were not encouraged to stay for a second drink b... Voir le carte
